Have you ever spoken with casino staff during a slots or dice game session that significantly impacted your enjoyment, whether it was exceptional service or something that could’ve been improved?

No I have never spoken to any stuff during play when I was inside a live Casino. It is very rare anyway that i visit them as I mostly play online casino.

This may be one of the stories that is funny but you had to be there. My best friend and her husband and I went to the casino, we were all doing our own thing. The casino here is small so we could see each other. They had free spaghetti that night, so I went over for a little snack and the husband showed up. We were standing up stuffing our faces and all of sudden we see security taking out my girlfriend. I said I guess we should go and he says we have time. LOL. Made the experience funny and not funny all at the same time.

The only interaction I had with a casino staff was when I was at a blackjack table and doing very good, the only time in my life I turned $300 into $11K. The pit manager, a nice young lady came to me when I was about to leave and asked me if I wanted a room and some dinner. I had a room already but took the dinner.

Wait... why was she getting taken out? I need to know more! 😆

I don't usually play slots or dice games (I need to learn how to play craps), but I have been at many a blackjack table where the dealer was SO fun, you almost didn't mind losing. They really knew how to pump up the party at the table, and get everyone laughing and just having a good time. And then when the usually serious pit bosses get in on the fun, it just makes for an extra good time. I haven't been in a really long time... all this talk about blackjack is making me want to go!

Haha! Can't say I blame her!

once had a floor manager stop me at a blackjack table because he thought my ID was fake since i look like i'm 15. he was super cool about it though, we ended up laughing and talking about sports for like ten minutes after he cleared me. definitely made the session a lot more memorable.

A lot depends on the casino's policies. Some casinos completely prohibit dealers from saying anything unrelated to the game, while others, if not force them, then highly encourage such behavior from gaming staff. And in such cases, things can get so out of hand that security is forced to intervene. I've witnessed this more than once.

Yes, I came across good, experienced people who did their job professionally and thanks to whom I spent my time gambling much better.

I took my granddaughter to Vegas for her 21st birthday. She looked every bit of 15 lol. She got carded about 5-8 times a day and twice they sent supervisors to double check her id lol. They were very suspicious but accepted it in the end every time and were courteous.

It made the trip interesting to say the least.

My only experience (since I only play poker tournaments or a little slots when I go to a casino) is when I was in the casino on a Royal Caribbean cruise. The dealer really wanted action from our cash game (since there's a hefty rake). They also stated the rake and one of my table mates argued that the rake on her last cruise was less. So the dealer changed the rake to the lower amount! Then, he kept trying to egg us on to be more aggressive and make the pots bigger. He was very personable but it ended up being pretty annoying.

I met drunk dealers a few times. And although they did their job properly, I had no complaints, but after the game ended I was left with a pretty good profit 😎

Most of the poker dealers at the Indian casinos where I play are very competent . But one time I 4 bet allin against an aggressive young gun with AQs and quickly showed my hand . I was pushed the pot with nothing paired and told the dealer twice that I wanted to see his hand while it was still live , but he just dragged it into the muck . I was pretty annoyed and cashed out shortly after .

Did the other player muck at showdown?

My only notable experience was when we wanted to cash out and the machine decided that was the perfect time to totally lock up. A staff member was able to call the backroom (or wherever the tech gurus hang out) and get it fixed in 10 - 15 minutes as we sat there and chatted with her. The notable part was that they knew this was an issue with this machine but didn't shut it down for maintenance.

To be honest, I always communicate with the roulette dealer when I play at the online casino on GG Poker. It helps me make the right decisions. I’ve been to a live casino twice in my life, and no, I didn’t talk to the casino staff. 😉

i've asked to see opponents hands many times as well on the poker table . it seems every poker room has different rules nowadays . in used to be that any player at the table could request a view (though it was seldom done ) and the dealer would tuck the face down unseen cards in the muck to' kill them ', before turning them up , so as not to cause a misread hand to beat the unchallenged winner .now you usually need to be in that pot to ask , and even then you may not get to see .

I’ve had staff make a session more enjoyable just by being friendly and attentive.
For me, good service matters, especially during a long session when you’re spending hours at the tables.
