Several times I have heard or read of winning casino players, with a lot of winnings, being forbidden the access from a casino. I mean a natural casino. This seems to be almost impossible at an online casino. Are these just thrills, or they are true? Have you heard of such situations?

This happens online and live.

I think it probably happens the most online with players who are sports arbitrage betters.

Casino owners might smile and even shake hands but hate you if you're a winner. It's only natural. Their business is to take your money, not giving theirs away.

The sad reality is that they have the right to ban anyone anytime. But if you are a winner, who cares. I would say: "Thank you, bye".

Yes, I had heard about that, but I did a quick search and found some answers about when you can be banned from a casino, and they don't mention winning too much as a reason for being banned. Maybe it's a more “veiled” issue and it's not so easy to know if it's really true or not. Good luck to you!

Well, it's not legal to ban someone for winning, that's for sure. Another sure thing is that casino owners don't like winners. That's why they always approach you (If you're winning) and offer you rooms, dinners and other comps. They certainly do everything they can to keep you in and monitor your activity.
But it's a different story when it comes to banning someone. That happens only if they have serious suspicions about someone is counting cards or just "too smart" to lose, in which case they ask them to leave and not to come back or in certain cases, force them to bet the minimum as long as they want to stay.

I agree !

I used to hedge bet on Tenis because it hasno draw and the live odds are changing quikly

I used to bet prematch on the underdog (Player B) for odds +2.50
And live bet on the favorite ( Player A ) when his odds pass +2.50
And like this you win at least 25% on your investment no matter the outcome.

At first my betting limits has been lowered
Second They stopped paying my winnings
and 3rd I got banned on UNIBET.

All without warning, because sites (casinos) don't like winning players . You are a good customer only when you loose !

Hedging is complatly legal ! And now I bet on Player A in a casino and I bet on playerB in another casino , because the law forbids them to share user data between them ! And like this they dont have good reason to ban !

I read an article that said:
"Counting cards in blackjack
Sometimes, the casino won't kick you out. They'll just ask you to try a different game because you're ‘too good’ at the game you're playing. In this situation, the staff is giving you a way out, and you should do as they ask. However, if they strongly suspect you're counting cards, they'll confiscate your winnings and distribute your image to casinos in neighboring areas."
Well, that's definitely banning someone, isn't it?

It's just that casinos cooperate and exchange information about counting cards people and cheaters. That way if you can count cards, even if you go to different casinos, they will be watching you. But cheaters are definitely banned.
And I never heard of casinos confiscating winnings though anything is possible.

Yes, I don't know much about it either, but I read this here:

There's nothing you can do here, go to another casino. The main thing is to withdraw the money.

people also get banned from certain games indefinetly as it seems.
Me for example I am blocked at certain slot games in the casino section of GG cause apparently "I won too much "

highly unlikely though you would get banned from entire casino section alltogether, like it can easily happen in a live casino.

Quite some years ago , an acquaintance of mine started playing cashgames in Casino somewhere on the countryside . He became a regular, completely owned the regs there and he got a permanent ban after he won 50K in one month
I think this should be illegal.... banning winning players

Exactly it shouldn't happen, because a player has done great effort to reach that level, it's a shame!

I heard of people who counted cards in blackjack that were no more allowed after to go to the same casino and continue with their tricks.

I think such cases are much more common in online casinos than in live casinos. I think that in most online casinos, if you win a large enough amount of money, they may subject you to a verification process that will take a long time and there is no guarantee that you will pass it. I have never won more than $1,000, so I have never had any problems with withdrawals. But I think if I ever win $100,000, it is possible that such problems may arise.

I went to a small Casino in Kansas City and he door man ask me to wait while the he was checking a photo book containing the names of people banned from the casino, I became curious about what they had done to end up on the list. I asked him, but he ignored me. I prefered just enter, before he put me in the book...

The only person that wants you to win is you!! Ask any casino, government or corporation. Win as much as you can I guess before the hammer comes down.

I’ve heard of cases where players have been banned from visiting and playing at casinos. I have a friend who was banned from playing at an online casino. They explained the reason very frankly. They wrote to him saying that he could no longer play there because it was ‘not economically viable’ for them.

Casinos can do anything they please and desire , if they font want a player they have many ways to get rid of him , or not pay his winnings . I have heard stories for such bans , especially live . If a casino player is a pro and he can win against the house edge , why should he be banned , that's sth I don't get it . Very unethical .

A few years ago, one evening, at a local casino, I won about 2500 dollars. I was playing roulette, I was drunk and I was just lucky. A few days later, when I came back to spend the evening at this establishment, the security did not let me in. They told me not to come again and that this was the owner's order.

A casino is a private business and they can forbid you returning. As in trespass you. If you think you are being discriminated against you can file file a governmental complaint and /or civil lawsuit. So, Yes they can eject you and reject your return.

I didn't have any big wins, but I was banned from several local casinos. All because of conflicts with the service staff, who in my opinion were negligent in their work.
