Hello everyone, how are you?

Sometimes I think the hardest part of playing isn't winning or losing, but knowing when to stop. 😅

For me, to play responsibly is to be able to enjoy the fun without letting the result control our emotions or our pocket.

How do you realize that it's time to stop?

Well when I play casino games i mostly set a strict limit beforehand and when that budget is over I'm going to stop play and leave.

I usually don't play casino games, but I think that I would set a maximum amount to lose and stick to it.

I always have a limit for the evening. If I double it, I stop. If I spend it, I stop too. It's very simple 🙂

If you have bankroll management, if you plan your game, if you have stop loss and take profit, then you will never have such questions. If you don't have all this, then you better find yourself another hobby.

For me it’s all about setting a strict budget before I even start. The second that predetermined amount is gone, or if I hit a solid win target, I log off or walk away. If you start making exceptions on the fly, you've already lost control.

It should just be fun, if you stay within your budget.

The risk aspect comes in when you cant stay within your budget.

Section off an amount which is the maximum loss, and treat casino gambling as entertainment. If you find yourself unable to this, you have a problem.

Like most, I have a preset amount to win or lose before going to the casino, and it highly depends on the games I intend to play.
I have a much higher limit on blackjack and poker, and a clear understanding that I am just having fun at the casino games,
and if I win, it's just icing on the cake.

For me it's a very simple question. I stop when I spend the amount I planned to spend 🙂
I don't know how it could be any other way.

my plan is to have enough to get home and use the rest on poker and blackjack

For me, it's time to stop when I notice that I'm no longer making decisions as clearly as I was at the beginning.

When you play casino games with intent of getting profits, the best moment to stop is before you start playing it, but if you play it only by fun, then don't use the money you need for other things in life (or just play with play money, instead).

I stop if I see that the game is not going the way I would like. There are different days, and I try to choose for the game those that can potentially bring me profit. I play depending on the situation, rely on intuition and try to play disciplined 🙂

It all depends on how much money I’ve decided to spend. I usually spend $20 a night. If I manage to turn that into $50, that’s my cue to stop playing.

For me, the stop sign is when I start thinking about winning back what I lost. 😂 Once the game becomes about recovering money instead of having fun, the fun has already left the table.
