Gods and patrons of gambling

Interesting tidbit... I really didn't know there were deities related to that!

I find some superstitions or divine attributions related to luck amusing, but I respect any kind of mysticism, or those lucky charm things.

In Scandinavian mythology, there is the god Ullr, who is considered the patron of all gambling and the god of fortune. In Aztec mythology, there is the god Macuilxochitl, who is considered the god of gambling. In ancient Greek mythology, there is Hermes, to whom gamblers often turned for luck.
Do you have someone you turn to during gambling with a request for luck?

Very interesting. I know about the mythologies you mentioned, but somehow never knew that they also have gambling Gods 🤔😳.
As to myself, unfortunately, I have no entity to turn to when playing poker or "gambling", I wish I did though 🤣🤣.

I find it interesting how many cultures had their own god or figure connected with luck and gambling. Maybe people have always wanted someone to blame or thank when the dice don’t go their way. 😄
