I mostly play poker, but sometimes I also play at online casinos, although not very often. Every member of my family has their own hobby, and no one criticises anyone else. Everything is peaceful and there are no conflicts 🙂

Those family members who never played or Don T know anything about poker Will never support these things...maybe after a bigger win .

All my relatives are against gambling, and I mostly say that I play with chips. I don't spend much, it's not noticeable for the family budget.

My girlfriend used to argue with me a lot about my poker hobby. But since I started sharing my winnings with her, we're both totally happy with each other 🙂

My wife doesn't care much because she sees that I have my betting limit. I just like to have fun.

I had a couple of partners who did not like me playing poker at all though they didn't know anything about it. I think they only hated the time I didn't spend with them.
Then I had a wife who played a little, I was happy about it, thinking that she would understand. It turned out that she would get upset when I lose and very happy when I win.

I think it's a middle ground, neither bad nor good, my girlfriend thinks that if I like it I should play it, but with conscience, not to overdo it and I think that for the time being I'm doing well

Everything’s fine as long as there’s money in the family. But if I ever lose… well, my wife might just come after me with a frying pan 🙂

No one has any problem with my gambling habits . They know I have absolute control over losses , that I spend very little money . I have strict bankroll management. I never let anything disrupt my desirable betting behavior , I don't let anyone or anything to drive me on tilt . They know these , so they are fine with this .

Honestly speaking, my family especially my mom, do not like me gambling- for the obvious reasons. 😇

At first, my loved ones were very wary. But over time, when they saw that nothing bad was happening, they stopped paying attention to my online entertainment. What's more, from time to time I buy gifts for my family and always mention that the gift was bought with the money I was lucky enough to win 🙂

How my family feel about gambling? They probably don't care anymore as I'm already known as a lost case. So they just keep up with it lol.

My family was skeptical at first but they also understand my background and they have seen the results.

We as people believe with our eyes before anything else, people require there to be signs/proof that what you're doing is productive in order for them to support you. As for me, my family see that I'm playing cards but they don't really understand, they know that I do get money from it because of how much I'm invested in it but that it. 4months ago I went to play at my local casino and I told them that I just got an (invitation) email to play, but the truth was that I played with my own money

my twinbrother is worried I have a gamblingproblem.I know myself better than him and keep playing poker.I know it improves my life and is not a problem.

I live alone, so there are no problems. Previously, when I lived with my girlfriend, she resented me for spending too much time gambling. We didn't have any serious conflicts about it, but there were some misunderstandings. Honestly, if my wife was categorically against gambling, I could give it up, but if she was against poker, I would most likely give her up 🙂

I separated and now live alone. I was married three times, and all my wives were against gambling. I got divorced and now I gamble whenever and however much I want. But I don't recommend following my example.

My wife doesn't mind, as long as I remember to share my winnings with her. In my opinion, I've found the perfect compromise. Now I play when I want, and my wife is on my support team 🙂

That's the best scenario one could have 👍😍.
What happens if you lose? Does she take it as a normal thing?

My family is supportive of everything I do, including poker and other gambling activities. The reason is that I pay all the bills and always do what I think is best for all of us.

That is very nice that your family accepts your gambling. A man got to do what a man got to do and if you care for your family they appreciate it.

Hey there,
my family honestly was a bit scarry first. But iam proven a healthy life with poker. It involves using the game to sharpen my mind while also prioritizing physical and mental well-being through strategic health habits like regular exercise, a balanced diet, sufficient rest, and maintaining social connections outside of poker. Poker can be a tool for cognitive enhancement, but it's crucial to balance it with healthy habits to prevent burnout, mental and physical fatigue, and social isolation.
