In my opinion, casino games are a sure loss, and the games we see on social media are just advertising; the only winner is the software. What do you think?

I don't think software wins or loses; it either works or it doesn't. Business owners reap the profits, and they are the ones who bear the losses if something goes wrong.

I agree the house has an edge, but I think calling every game a sure loss is a bit too broad. Some people do win in the short term.

How is the software a winner ? Somebody wrote the code and got paid for it . And yes , the house (casino owners ) almost always cleans up long term .

I am making more from online games in the last year than I have made from online poker in the last 5 years. Won't say my technique else everyone jumps on the same bandwagon and the deal goes away.

It was the same way years ago with online poker, again for a time, I was making decent money monthly like I currently am with games. Not enough to buy a house but enough to pay a monthly electric bill.

Get while the gettin's good.

"Casino games are a sure loss" is a false statement.
Of course, most people lose, but some do win. So, I'd rather say "Casino games are sure gamble" or sure risk.

And what how could a "Software" win or lose?

If you only play occasionally and take the win and run while ahead then you're a winner, I am ahead both live and online.

👍

I think that to make money, you need to own a casino.

Your words are true and in order to own a casino you must have money

So, there is no hope for me then. I don't have money or own a casino. Life can be so unfair. 🙁

Whether it is a brick and mortar casino or online casino/poker room, the odds are always in favor of the house, otherwise there would be no casinos at all.
You just got the look at the buildings and interior, not to mention staff wages, etc., to realise it has to be that way.

Over my 79 years (last 60+ anyway), taking all my gambling (horse racing, live poker sessions, sports betting, casinos, online poker, etc.) into consideration, I'd hate the think how much money it has cost me over the years. Would I change anything, if I could start over again? No. I always regarded it as entertainment and never spent more than I could afford to lose.

Sounds like you found something that works for you, but keeping that technique secret makes me curious what kind of games you mean lol.

I think casino games are more likely to lead to losses than profits in the long run, because the house always has an advantage.
