Casino games like slots, roulette, and similar formats are pure luck. blackjack, bacarrat and other games that involves your decision making are skill-based. That's my take.

Skills and experience certainly give an advantage, but everything will depend on luck in any case. I think if you are skilled and experienced you will have a better chance of a good result.

I think it's pure luck. sure you can adjust some settings and try to make good decisions but in the end it still comes down to pure luck.

Skill when it's card games, like basic strategy with blackjack, then adding card counting to your skill set. Even roulette with the Martindale betting style, could that be down as a skill? Slots is definitely luck.

The house generally has the edge, so if you play bad you are just losing faster.

So you can lose less, but its unlikely you will overcome the house edge.

Pretty much agree with this - but even with the games where skill is a factor there is still a very strong luck factor involved.

I think skill gives you the long-term edge, especially in poker, but luck definitely dictates the outcome of any single short-term session!

However, games like poker or blackjack are a different story. In poker, skill dominates because you're playing against other people, and in blackjack, proper basic strategy (or advantage play) directly impacts the house edge. So while luck dictates any single hand or round, skill is what makes the difference in games where strategy actually affects the outcome.

It's important to understand: luck and skill aren't opposites, but rather different aspects. You can play 100% mathematically correct and lose. Or you can make a terrible move and win the hand.

Honestly, 90% of it is pure luck. Unless you're playing poker against other people or strictly following basic strategy in blackjack to minimize the house edge, the casino always wins in the long run. Slots and roulette are 100% chance no matter what "system" someone tells you they have lol.

If poker is a casino game, then I can say that luck is the most important in this game, but if we are talking about the true casino games, like slots, aviator, or something like this, I can say the obvious: there is no skill, only luck (not for you, but for the casino that has you as their player).

From my more than 30 years of experience, I can say that luck will always be more important than skill. If you think that over time you will gain experience, become a skilled player who can earn money, then you will definitely be bitterly disappointed.

Even skilled players have no advantage in slots and most casino games, imo 😍
But in poker and blackjack, skill matters, but luck is the most important factor.

Poker it's mainly playing against people, so very different to other casino games. With standard casino games improving your skill level will increase the chances of getting lucky, but very difficlut to be a winner long term.
