We all know the regular casino games like roulette, blackjack, Craps, and various poker table games... but what are some of the more obscure tables you've seen at the casino?

Thinking about obscure games makes me think of the movie, National Lampoon's Vegas Vacation when Clark goes to the rundown casino to win his money back and he's playing "Guess a Number" and the good ol' card game, "War", which tbh, I would probably play at the casino lol.

And with the recent news of UNO having social clubs, now, and started in Vegas (although not officially a casino game), I wonder if there might be more obscure or non-traditional games coming to casino floors?

I think that would be fun. So far I am only finding the traditional games that you see everywhere. I would love to see the casinos putting a spin on games we all know and love but you don't normally find in a casino.

I have seen War in casinos - I don't think it was Vegas though...so only other place it could have been was Reno or Tahoe. It was so tempting to sit down... but I got ahold of myself. :ROFLMAO:

As much as i would love to hit a big slots win - it would be equally as amazing to be in a LV Casino just to hear a bell ring when someone drops a jackpot win.
@Debi - have you ever witnessed this?

I have seen people win jackpots many times - and won one myself, but very few places ring a bell when it happens. None of the Vegas casinos do that -nor does the one I go to every month.

But the casinos we went to in Aruba did - and it did make it more exciting.

casino war is actually a thing in some places, which is wild to me because you're literally just paying casino house edge to play a kids' game lol.
but honestly, seeing stuff like pai gow tiles always trips me out. not the poker version, but the actual dominoes. i swear only the old heads at the back of the room know how to play it, i just stand there completely clueless watching them move those tiles around.

I always wanted to sit down and play War, but... it also just seems crazy to me. Glad I'm not the only one who has no clue about Pai Gow.

Sadly, our casino is too small to have obscure games. Unless I manage to go back to Canada or the States, I will be stuck with the regular games...but that is ok too.

I'd honestly play a casino version of War just for the laughs. 😅 I've also seen games like Casino Hold'em, Three Card Poker, Pai Gow Poker, and Sic Bo, which aren't as common depending on where you play. I wouldn't be surprised if more social or party-style games start showing up in casinos if they keep attracting younger players. As long as it's fun and the rules are easy to pick up, I'd give them a shot.

I have seen tables for WAR in Las Vegas...some 30ish years ago I remember that you could play Solitaire in Vegas...you paid $52 and got $5 for every card you put up...single card turns...but I haven't seen it in years.
