Totally right. Life is too short and you don't even know if such an occasion would present itself again.Newzooozooo said:I’d definitely pay extra. I love comfortable surroundings and am happy to pay extra for them. Quite simply, there’s no reason why I shouldn’t treat myself to this.
$100 will get you $1 that it was a man who began the practice. I did a Google search for where it originated and the AI came up with this:najisami said:I know. I've been playing poker for years now and no one has ever explained to me why that "villain" word has been chosen. And what I hate more and don't understand is that pros and content creators are using it all the time, like nothing!!!
To tell you the truth, it was worth a lot more than that.black and said:I think the comfort is worth the small extra cost. $40 is not much. It's not $200 or $300. I think I would do the same.
Definitely. The event I played in the following day was a $320 tournament in which I got knocked out just a few players from the bubble, but the suite experience made up for everything.pltelles said:In this case, the upgrade was worth it, right? Live poker is quite expensive.
R.Holynskyi said:The extra charge isn't that much, so I don't think there's really anything to think about.

True, normally, I used to spend barely any time in the comp rooms, just showers and a couple of hours sleep. But that one time, I did not leave that suite till the following day.jaymfc said:I jump on the extra money for a nice suite, although, as said, not much time is spent in the room
It was precisely mine who jumped on the idea before I had the chance to even think about it 🤪. And the jacuzzi was in a huge sitting area. I t was worth a lot more than that $35!SPANKYSN said:I know my wife would love it..
Exactly 🤣. So, it becomes obvious that everyone agrees on spending $35 on a suite except one member.Igor G said:I think I can afford $35. It's a question from the opera, eat a burger or save 🙂
Yeah, do it, go upstairs and get in the jacuzzi.schtiuky said:Do it and don't look back
I thought the guy was joking. $35 is a giveaway, but I still play only on-line and for piddling stakes.MK_ said:I mean only $35 for a suite???..... go big or go home😎👍
If you go and play for piddling stakes at a casino for a few times, you still get comps, including rooms.thedarkman said:but I still play only on-line and for piddling stakes.
I could not agree more. Just the couple of hours in that huge jacuzzi were worth the world 🤪.hobojim1247 said:Now THAT is a mathematical advantage that is hard to beat.
Did you at least ask what the buy in was???Tero said:A little off topic but a true story this one too...
Years ago my wife and I were spending the night at the capitol city of our country. We had booked a regular room, arrived on time and got our key cards.
So upstairs we went and opened the door... only to find three Asian men sitting on the bed in a ring formation, wearing only their underwear and playing cards.
We closed the door as soon as we could and stormed back to the lobby. They were surprisingly unapologetic about it, but we managed to get bumped up to a really nice suite for the same price.
