If you are only going to sleep there then no reason to upgrade, but if you are going to be doing some work, or playing poker, or hanging out with friends, etc - then the suite is a great deal.

I thought the same thing. It all depends on what you need the number for and what you plan to do in it.

Yep, that's what it comes down to.
Like I said, if it was up to me, a regular room would've been enough since I usually only spend a few hours of sleep in it.

Surprisingly, the girl said: "Sure you do sir, would you like to check in?". As I was thinking about it (I had no room at the Borgata), she added: "Oh, I can even upgrade it to a suite if you want to only pay its tax".
That's what competition does!

What would you do? Pay $35 for a suite? Or settle for a regular free room?

PS: Regular room = $295 a night on weekends and special events.

I would pay $35 for a suite all day long!

I mean it really depends if you have a lot of money you just do it and if you not have a lot of money you just think about how much time you will spend at the suite and then decide.

Within the context, I think it would be worth the price... Well, obviously "free to injections in the forehead" is better than paying anything, but in the end it's not that expensive and it would also depend on how you use the room!

I love beer, and at that time, I could've bought about 40 beers with $35, but that's not the point.
Have you ever stayed in a luxury suite? With a huge Jacuzzi too? Even though it was just for 24 hours, it was an unforgetable experience.
Beer is something you can have everyday.

as others noted ,with no friends and companions around i would save the 35 dollars and likely use it to help with a cash table buyin . when in a town to gamble/play poker i'm not really gonna be spending much time in the hotel room !

That makes a lot of sense. As I've said before, if I was alone, I wouldn't have cared at all, I only spend a couple of hours in the room anyway.
