Which tournament would you choose?

I don't cash too often, and honestly I haven't kept track of anyone else's cashing to know.

I had some good results over the last 6 months, mainly due to the games being at a better time for me during daylight saving time, 10am instead of 8am game times mean I'm fully awake at game time, full gut of food and all coffee'd up and in the mood to play.

I wouldn't call people who chase with any 2 and get lucky runner runner outcomes "better players" then there are the ridiculous runouts at Replay that help those players to look like they are geniuses.

Yes, there are unfortunately a lot of those. But I also noticed that many players do play much better than they used to.

It is unlikely that any of my friends will be willing to pay for my gambling. But if it came to that, I would definitely choose blackjack. Blackjack is still a real chance to make a profit. As for slots, this chance is very small.

easy decision for me . I would choose to play the slots tournament , and not the blackjack tournament , because I don't know how to play good or pro style blackjack , so not good chances to be successful at blackjack. Plus I don't like it so much . The slots I like more .

My early journey was mostly spent at live games; I didn't really play this much online till COVID had me stay home, got used to it kind of. 😂.
This Friday (15th), I'm invited to a home live tournament, can't wait, really missed it 😜.

Even if you're not that good at blackjack, you still have more chances to win, as opposed to slots where it's pure gambling. And believe me, blackjack is a lot of fun.

I actually was talking about live play. But online is fine too, except that you haven't answered the question.
PS: I personally never participated in an online blackjack tournament.

That's some nice thinking right there. No one said anything about reimbursing the friend.
If I win anything, I will certainly give my friend his buy-in back and probably some more or at least buy some drinks.

But what I was wondering about is your time at CC, were you on the CC leaderboards?
I see your 17 awards, many 1st places, but is it my memory that's bad, or were you absent for a long time, or just a wallflower

I joined CC in 2014 just by a chance. Was at a cafe and had my PC with me. Stumbled on it. But I wasn't active at all till COVID again. I saw those LBs but was never part of anything that could get me there.

As to the 17 awards, I have no idea how I got them, won a couple of events though, like the Variants one for example. I miss that one.

And btw, 17 can't be compared to 99 by any means 🤪😂.

It doesn't matter. Both tournaments are games of chance, my friend will probably lose the buy-in because I'm not lucky. You can be profitable in poker without luck.

I played Blackjack when I was a kid, but I don’t have any experience with it now, so I’d choose a slots tournament, since he’d be paying the entry fee. But ONLY because he’d be paying for it. I see it as a kind of lottery ticket. Good luck to you, Sami!

But anyway, for me the order would always be this:

Poker > Blackjack > maybe roulette > slot games and spins, with video poker as my first choice.
