When playing any table game or slots at a casino, drinks are obviously on the house.
Do you tip waitresses for every drink they bring you?
What if a waitress asked for it?

I only play online. But in general, if the service deserves a reward, then I am definitely willing to tip. It all depends on the situation and, first and foremost, on the staff of the establishment.

It seems to me that casino etiquette does not allow asking for tips to anyone, otherwise customers will think that the staff is asking for alms, which is completely unacceptable for the owners. (n)

If I've had a good day, I always tip the people who served me. If the day brought me only losses, I won't tip. Of course, there are exceptions, but in most cases, I only tip when I have something to tip with :)

I have always considered tipping as just another cost associated with the visit. Good service from the bartender or the lady circulating providing drinks is why I tip, not their fault how well I do at the tables.

In restaurants, casinos or bars, I tip if the waiter deserves it. But if the waiter is careless about his work, he definitely doesn't deserve a tip.

At the casino, you normally don't expect any special service. The waitresses are mostly busy, but they bring you free stuff, so it really comes down to whether you tip or not.

I like that and totally agree with you. We should always take care of people who work for tips, especially that the drinks are free in this case.

Yes, that's right. I always tip and think everyone should, but if a waitress asks for gratuity, It would piss me off.

I'm sorry, but I think that's bad logic. The waitress has nothing to do with you winning or losing. She's doing her job regardless of what's happening at the tables. If you're losing, and don't intend to tip, why do you ask for free drinks, make her work and waste her time?

Totally agree with you sir. Cheap people always look for excuses. What does a waitress have to do with what's happening at the tables?

I usually tip a little for good service, but if someone directly asks for a tip it feels a bit awkward. I prefer tipping because I want to, not because I’m pressured.

I agree when it comes to restaurants or bars. But at the casino, not only that the waitresses are mostly very busy, but they bring you stuff you don't even have to pay for!

A "little" for "good" service doesn't sound right to me.
But you're right about the 2nd part. I wouldn't appreciate servers asking for tips at all.

That's not right bro. I don't agree with you at all. You're getting free drinks, and the tip would be a small percentage of their price!!!!!!
Free drinks are a trap into thinking you are getting something for free, whereas its part of your money which the casino rakes from you
That is why i will do that only if im having a good session

We all know that, Ron. But that's between you and the casino. If you don't accept it, stay home.
As to the serving people, they are working, and their job is one of the hardest jobs ever. They have nothing to do with the casino policies or with you losing or winning.
You want to be cheap? So be it :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:.

Yes- my experience was always good at the casinos I went too... IMO if the quality of the serve is high- it deserves a reward/tip :)

I'm not really sure what to say for the 2nd question... I mean, I always tip and if I don't there has to be a reason for it- if someone asks for a tip(or a higher one), I probably would say NO and advise the waitress to do a better job in the future... if things continue, I'll just stop playing and have a talk with the manager- I'm going to the casino mainly to have a good time(of course it would be nice to win some extra money, but I'm aware that usually I'll just 'donate', hopefully, small amounts), this kind of 'drama' could make me stop going and just play online with a few beers around...

Well, in the casino, it's hard to expect "good service" unlike restaurants for example. In the casino, waitresses are running around, very busy usually, but deserve tips imo, that's what they're working for. Let alone that you don't pay for anything.
