What is the most overrated game in the casino?

I think roulette is the most overrated game, but it's also insanely popular. Although there are chances to win at roulette, these chances are much lower than, for example, the chances of winning at card games at the table.

I also think that the most overrated game is video poker. I mean, not slots in general, but video poker. When I play poker online, on reliable sites, I can compare the game with video poker, and in my opinion, video poker is just a banal and unpromising game.

I think Roulette.

Many people like it because of high RTP, 97,30%, but what many don't know is that the RTP % is taken from your overall bets and not the original starting amount you started with.

People during session of roulette use strategy where they spread their bets and money onto multiple columns, with this strategy they end up winning small amount, then lose little, win small again, lose, win, lose. Their original starting amount was $10, but their overall bets during session could easily go over $100. They actually pay 2,70% of the overall bet amount, for example $2,70 from $100. Even if their original starting amount was $10.

Technically it's in theory possible to even pay casino more than $10 with session where the $10 was the original starting amount.

I'd love to know this maths lime KrazyKoo mentioned above to know better when I'm in a Casino, but for me its Roullete too...

I would say slots of course. The chances to win something else than disappointment are very thin but it seems that those machines have a real power of attraction.
There are always a lot of people feeding them with $$... including me sometimes

I think slot machines...I have never played them much but I am interested in learning if it is worth playing some in order to earn comps. So many people I know seem to love playing slots but I always feel like it's a waste of money and that main source of revenue for the casinos. It seems so passive and kind of puts people into a trance so it doesn't really appeal to me.

I believe in slot machines,
I don't know what probability we have in games with humans, I really don't know, but based on the experience we can have today with these online slots, we can assume that our chances are very low.
In the past, with less information and knowledge, and with the lights and sounds around, these machines must have had a certain "charm", but nowadays, I'm surprised that they still have a stronger appeal, perhaps more due to nostalgia for some.

I'm aware I'm simplifying this, and there is clearly excitement to get on the features etc, get big wins, but its not for me!!

In California , where i live , the poker games at small stakes are overrated ! Every casino /cardroom takes 4, 5 even 6 dollars right after the flop ! Sometimes that's more than half the money in the pot . They claim 1/3 of the drop is for 'jackpots/player promotions' that is all given back , but i dont believe that story . Its very difficult to come out ahead long term at $3/$6 limit or 4/8 limit and any small no limit game (1/2 , 1/3 2/3 ) no matter how strong a player you are .You'd have to play $2/$5 no limit or bigger to have any chance of overcoming the rake ! Most people dont pay much attention to how much cash is going down the chute .The few existing card rooms and Indian casinos essentially have a protected monopoly on legal poker ,so they dont have to worry about a competitor offering better value .

I'm going to step it up a notch and say any poker table game where you play against the house. I'm also not a big fan of table house games at all.. except for blackjack. That can stay lol.

Aww, everyone bashing the slots. Sure there is no real strategy, but gosh it's fun when you win. I played once while I was in Dominican Republic, looked around a bit and found my slot machine. It was called "Slots for Dummies"..I figured it was perfect. Threw 20 US at it and walked out with $300...I was a happy camper.

So for me the overrated game is Roulette, without a doubt. People standing around yelling at a little ball, almost like golf..lol. I have tried it a couple times, just not for me. They have an electronic Roulette at the casino here, my roommate loves it. He has never one much on it. I have definitely won more on the slots there.

I think slots are the most overrated type of gambling. There are so many of them, hundreds of them, and there are so many players who prefer slots. I think slots are the most overrated game.

I played casino in my life a lot of(but I lose a lot too)

SLOT MACHINES! They are designed to make money, they can be set to different percentage pay-outs and if you get a bad Casino setting the lowest possible percentage win rate you have no chance.
My Wife was a Manageress in a Slot machine arcade and even she had no access to alter the Percentage Rate, that was set by the mechanic's who came around on a weekly visit to empty them and set the rate depending on how much the machine had taken the previous week, but even set at a high percentage pay out does not mean you will get a set amount back for every £100 put into it, they don't work like that, the rate is set over the Lifetime of the machine which could be weeks, months or even years depending on it's popularity.
She had some machines that were never changed in the Arcade because they were so Popular, she had others that could be changed every 6 or 12 months depending on their popularity,
There are ways to beat them, but even knowing all the secrets you can still lose, I once saw one guy put in over £60 in one machine and every time he got 3 nudges he held the two symbols that matched, and spun the reels and not once did he get a win. I wanted to tell him what he was doing wrong, but couldn't as It could have cost her job, but after he left I put £2 in the machine and walked away with £50 in 10 minutes.
Not all machines work this way but they want you to hold after a nudge, some will automatically hold for you after a nudge, if you do usually you will lose, the one tip I will give you is if you find the right machine's, NEVER Hold after a nudge, Cancel it and it will always spin to a win, not the one you would have made by holding matching symbols, but a win never the less.

I will say that these are slot machines. It's not even that they are overrated. I think it's evil

For me, Slots are overrated, I don't understand how many people can make money from these games. I played slots a couple of times and I realized that it is more difficult than you think

Even though I've never been to a casino, I think it would be the slot machines.

I would also vote for the Slot Machine.
I hate them.

I think roulette and slots are the most overrated. And I think live card games are the most underrated.

The slots are overrated, they are designed to get more money from people and give less to the few who are playing them.

Got to agree with a lot of people, it's slots, they just eat your money and
the returns are very poor.
