I’ve been wondering how serious casino players actually approach it.
Because obviously, the house has the edge. That’s kind of the business model.
You don't see the Bellagio putting up a sign saying “Warning: some customers may accidentally make a profit.”
So what do regular gamblers actually do?
Do you stick to blackjack, baccarat etc. because the house edge is lower?
Do you set yourself a bankroll and stop when it’s gone?
Do you change your stakes depending on how you're doing?
Do you hunt down bonuses, promotions and comps?
Or do you just sit down, lose £200 and tell yourself you were “due”?
I’m particularly interested in people who gamble regularly rather than the occasional casino tourist.
Is there actually such a thing as being a good casino gambler, or are we all just looking for a more sophisticated way of donating money?
