Online: No, never.
At a casino: Sometimes, but mostly no.
At a home game: Yes, but I only drink as much as my friends do so that none of us has an advantage

Back in the day, I used to drink a lot more while playing. I remember one night, me and a friend both got really drunk and played live $1/$2. We ran so hot that about 70% of chips on the table belonged to us 2 and the other 30% belonged to the other 7 players. We felt like Gods because everyone else was sober and we were destroying them, pulling off huge bluffs and hero calls. Probably the most entertaining poker session I've ever had at a casino.

I just drink alcohol when I play poker with friends. Otherwise I don't drink while playing poker

when you play home games with friends, you NEED beer..
when youre in an actual tournament or cash game..you need to be able to make the best decision, and lets be real.. a lot of us have made bad decision when not sober hahaha

Bad plan unless you like losing money ! Alcohol impairs your ability to process information and make decisions . Since poker is a game of incomplete information seems like a pretty terrible idea to drink alcohol and play at the same time !

Yes, when at home, but more when playing live tournaments. Found that even when I don't drink, it doesn't hid me form the river 😊

personally I do not drink when I play...online or live!

I sure do love when my friends drink though in our local cash game and it is quite profitable if you are playing live to move to a table with players who are drinking they love to leak their money lol!

I wouldn't drink much or toke unless freerolls.

Why would I want to jeopardize my finances or a chance to win? A little too much alcohol impairs your judgement (might be good for some players) and then there is marihauna. I used to think I was so intelligent while high, what an idiot I was ...

live never 1 coffee to start then tea or hot chocolate .....nice meal ordered for 1st break

Online curry or pizza and 3/5 bottles of best vintage cider or a brandy or 2 depending on my mood, online have fun dont expect much and practice your range , for me now just freerolls and maybe some cash OH OH*8 and a hangover in the morning heheheh

I dont drink, but sometimes when i drink - i feel more relaxed and it help me to play poker, but if i drink very much then it is so bad for me and cant play good poker. Because cant focus to game.

I dont drink alcohol,but even if i drank,i would never drink while im playing because one must keep its mind "clean" and thoughts fresh while trying to extract money from the villains...
