Bad choices

I had a good time playing freerolls, building a modest bankroll, but with good management, I managed to play some micro tournaments every day and always grow little by little.
I think 1 year ago I started to deceive myself with sports betting and blackjack and that was the beginning of the end of what took me so long to build (almost 4 years).
I'm in an endless loop of winning a little bit at poker and losing it all at betting and blackjack.
on the last day of the year i lost all my bankroll on party poker, ps and 888 in search of a goal. and he didn't come out.
I don't blame the betting or blackjack.
but each one of us has to accept that certain things were not made for us to progress (I only say in my case).
this morning i lost the last pennies i had on gg in blackjack.
even though it's too late for me, I commit myself from today not to get involved with betting or games of chance and slowly I'm going to recover my bankroll through the one that lifted me up and made me dream that one day I could change my life.
As of today I'm just a poker player and nothing more.
thank you for being able to vent here among friends.
PS: I don't blame any of the games, I just recognize that they aren't for me.

Never understood the appeal of BlackJack.

Even money for your bet and 3/2 for BJ and the probability of an overall win in the session only 42%

I still played Bingo and a bit of Casino for a while, but without success, I'll just stick with Poker, from time to time I play a bit of Cash Games.

in poker I feel more able to make my decisions more relevant than just luck.

No clue where (and how) you played them but that duo is still playable ...
For example in B-I-N-G-O it is indeed possible to buy maximum amount of tickets and then wonder why you dont win anything (this has happened to me like several times) so i guess it is much better to take adventage of such bingo games like "buy 1 get 1 free", 1,2 to go and all kind of roll-on´s ...

You can easily have success in casino aswell since you literally have to find games which are "broken" aka give out (too much) money ...
But at the same time you probably should be ready for extreme bad luck should you buy some 50€ bonus and win like less than 10 bucks lol ...

I praise you here yuriko, it takes a lot of courage to expose our past mistakes... I believe its one of the best ways to let it go and move foward!
I also made a ton of mistakes like that and still do, so maybe my advices don't have much value, but building solid goals end measuring your acomplishes on it can be really helpfull in your endeavors!

I particularly when I write and expose something that I want to change, I feel that attitude becomes stronger within me.

As I understand your feelings, I myself only play online roulette as I win something in poker. Here is the last time I was in the casino in August, I went before the new year, nothing has changed, I lost. Poker is the best, play poker!

I did that a lot too, and the ending is always tragic.

it was suffered, but we learned, unfortunately in the worst way.
but that's true learning, it always charges us a price.
I was very stubborn and had to lose several times, simply to reach the most obvious conclusion: I don't have the emotional conditions to get involved with this type of game.
