I would tend to disagree with this one. While winning a lot of cash is nice, I play for the joy of playing. If I win the tournament no mater how much its for I am happy.

I think playing is somewhat like a relationship.
And you might be thinking, what is this fool talking about? What I mean is that if you're not satisfied or happy with your life/routine, it's better not to get involved. This ties into the "depression" and dissatisfaction part.
As for winning and losing, I believe losing always carries more weight than winning, in almost all areas. People tend to remember negative experiences more. There’s not much you can do other than take it as an opportunity to improve.
Obviously, all of this is just an opinion.

This topic is what separates the good vs bad players in my opinion! There is def a direct correlation between greed and success. The more you can manage your bankroll the better you can do in the long run. I feel from my experience I’m a bad gambler in general because I go on tilt way too much because my greediness and impatience set in ! Wish I could control it but I can’t….. I suck

You can, lol. That's why you came here to learn. Playing freerolls makes it easier to control tilt because you don't lose any money.
practice not giving a crap when you lose and just move on to another one or something different.
if you play any of ours then fill in your profile with anything you want to share including your poker site user names
so we know when we see you at the tables

online poker is rough and you can't tilt and be a winning player so that's your first move
if you want success

I've never had post game depression simply because I strictly follow the bank roll management of never buying into a game that I didn't have 100x the buy in in my bank roll. If you only have $4 in your bankroll it's not hard to find an .02/.04 cent game. Now granted that's the worst play there is but if one is careful it can be very profitable. If you loose your only out 40 cents.... No big deal. ,

Careful play in low stakes is especially important because everyone calls anything even post flop with no pair no draw. Ugly Turn & river suck outs are going to happen regardless.... Very tight play can be rewarded by the occasional big bluff.

Stay within your bankroll by having at least 100,x the buy in & there should be nothing to actually be sad about. Suck outs happen to the very best so deal with it.

I played a tonne of play money before winning that $0.20. I won loads on there thinking I was a brilliant player, then reality hit me in the face 😂

Aside from poker, I'm quite the gambler. Rinsed 2500 dollar pay cheque on gambling won 7k, rinsed it an hour later. Yes no matter how much its not enough if you dont know how to draw a line and withdrawal.
