I think that cash games are more difficult. I generally prefer tournaments. Cash games have always been difficult for me and mostly brought me only losses. I think cash games require much more skill, experience and most importantly discipline.Shells said:

In an early-stage tournament there is no pressure like in cash games, and at the same time there is a possibility to win much more money than in cash games (at least considering my limits). 
Good question, answered by experience and little analysis.In cash, you don't necessarily choose what you need to follow some rules to protect or increase your bankroll. I play my position well, I know when I need to increase my chips before I’m in no place u want to be In a tournament, shove territory.. my gauge for being comfortable with my stack no matter where I’m at in the tourney is if I measure my chips to the leader and I would double 3 hands in a row off of him. If after the 3rd double up I’m ahead then I’m good with my chips.. example 100,000 vs 1,000,000 after 3 double ups is 800’000 for me and 300,000 for him. I think the biggest difference, initially, is in tournaments all players start with the same amount of chips whereas in cash games when you join an ongoing table you may have $300 while another player or players could have significantly more...putting the lower stacks at a slight disadvantage...usually this is only overcome with a few significant wins... as well in cash games "all-ins" are much less frequent while in tournaments they occur from the first hand on..Shells said:
