Daniel Negreanu is a good player, and he made some amazing reads on TV. The problem is he most of the time did not act according to his reads, and lost money in those spots.

In his book about small ball poker he lays out exactly how to play against him. You need to shove. You take the 50/50 or 60/40 and hopefully you get lucky. You don't want to let him grind you down with small pots and outplay you.

I think that has a lot of merit no matter who you are playing. If you are playing someone with a better skill set, the equalizer is not playing their game and use the math so you don't get outplayed. You can't out play me pre or post flop if I just shove and put the decision on you to play for stacks.

That's a good point, I know tournament poker is about survival and you can fold the 50/50 and just grind the chips back and more from opponents

Daniel is my favorite poker-player. I don't see another like him for now.
If i could get a few private sessions with him to get a few pointers it would be awesome.
He just goes deep in your soul and reads your mind.
My reading has improved a lot because of a few pointers he gave online.
You can learn a lot from him just by following his channel.

Yes Daniel Negreanu is one of the best players of all time! He has been playing for decades. He continues to adapt to the change in the "metagame" of poker. He is the face of poker and he always tries to be a positive ambassador to the game. He is what the poker community needs in a poker player. He also was inducted into the poker hall of fame in 2014. Well deserved!!!

Some people aren't to fond of him because of his recent poker rakes comments but I think hes a nice guy I mean he gave a couple people free seats into the main event so thats pretty nice.
