it takes away a very small % but it's still more +EV than the alternative which is just to never use them. what else am i supposed to do? you can't sell points. so yeah, they suck, but whatever

although i guess if ur EV in satellites is incredibly high then u can play them or w/e, but i think just playing normal poker and not spending FTPs (and getting ur rakeback shipped to ur account in the form of USD monetary funds) seems like a better thing 2 do

i read that your rakeback takes a hit by $13.50 for every 10k points you use. the satty was 2.5k points, so basically it costs me like ~$3.50 (not gonna do exact math) to play for a $216 seat that i probably win 15% of the time. way +EV imo

I'm thinking of going to Cake this month.
But I'm reluctant. I can get a $500max 100% first deposit bonus plus 33% rakeback. But atm I don't even have $500 online. And I don't think I really want to deposit more from my bank account. So I have about $150 in mid-december or $250 if I clear out PS. But I'm still playing 10nl.

Which means the bonus is gonna get cleared rather slowly and maybe not even fully. So my Q is: should I wait 'till I'm playing 25nl and can deposit $500 on there to get the full bonus money available and a better shot at getting the whole thing cleared ? Or do what I want and go there now (read mid-Dec.) ?

And do any of you guys have any experience with Cake (not Bastard)?

ffs, nothing tilts me more than someone who min donk bets 100% when your not hitting a single flop. Then you flop a flush draw so you raise their donk bet, they call, then min donk bet the turn regardless, so you reraise again for about half of their stack, they call, then min donk bet the river when youve missed your draw and its just a massive case of ffs, so you shove in rage and they look you up with middle pair
