technically you buy them, but they're rediculous deals. At 200k vpps you can buy a $2k bonus for 50k fpps (which normally has a value of ~$800 so free $1200 ). There are bonuses up to 8k at 800k vpps and they all only cost 50k fpps. So the 800k milestone bonus has a value of basically free $7200.

Stars gives milestone bonuses for players who progress past Supernova and to encourage players to go for SNE. You get them once you hit 200k, 300k, 400k, 500k, 600k and 800k. They are worth $2k for the 200k one, $3k for the 300k one so on a so forth. You have to deduct 50k fpps for the privilege which basically knocks of around $800/milestone.

And no I'm not in the well, as I'm nowhere near as good or interesting as the others

(the sunday million tshirt is not an option since it basically says im not good enough to have won the million and got the jacket)

(also biker jacket is not an option since i am not teh gay)

Feels good to have a winning session tbh, and not to have to worry about any sort of volume. D'ont think i lost with aces or kings for the full session apart from one KK fold post flop. Got mini stacked with a set of 7's towards the end but meh, im very happy with it.

Well I got in about 600 hands in today and ran breakeven. Had one kinda crappy hand that I posted in the HA thread but the guys confirmed that I made the right move shoving AA on the turn to someone who flat my big 3bet preflop move and flatted my cbet. Turns out he hit a set with 55.

Anyways 6max is going well. The more I play the more I understand what people are doing at this level and who the regs are and how to approach them. Saw a lot of fish draw out today which sucked.

the zip-up sports jacket is pretty baller, but it shrinks after u wash it so get a larger size imo

To be fair if he thinks my range includes a lot of unpaired high cards along with say TT+ he's getting the right price to call when I push. Now getting to that point by 4betting to $20 is certainly debatable but he is of course trying to push me off my hand.

But in all seriousness, if you're looking to get value and don't hate or completely suck at tournaments, using the FPPs for tournament buy-ins or satellites has to be the best value, and has the advantage of not requiring you to work off a bonus. For those of you are bent on playing only at Stars, I suppose the bonus part of the deal is only a minor nuisance since you'll be playing there anyway and acquire more FPPs.

But if you're a stronger player than the average Warmup/Million player, your EV will be at least $200 for playing in the tournament, and it's 13.5k FPPs. It's a better deal than 25k FPPs for a $285 bonus, or 100k FPPs for $1500. And trust you me, being better than average in these tournaments is not a hugely difficult feat.
