I've been searching for the past few and I know there is something out here on it but I can't seem to find it so i'll just ask the masses that post on Dec. Destruction:

How many hands do you need/want to have to tell if you are consistently winning at a level?

yeah, 100k is usually used as the sample at which you have a reasonable grasp of your actual win rate. but if you win at a consistent rate over 50k hands, the chance that it was luck and that you're actually a losing player in that game is very tiny. you can determine with reasonable certainty that you're a winner over 50k, you just won't be able to pinpoint your actual win rate too well

man i hate frustrating matches when you have villain all in 4 times, each >60% to win and lose them all :(. Also hate having to pay for not losing a single all in past 3 days, by not winning any today

also merry christmas io

$600 deposit to get $150. I wish I had a spare $600 laying around, because getting 3,000 FPP's in 6 months to unlock it is a no brainer.

just deposit $600 via visa, withdraw $600 48 hours(minimum time allowed to withdraw) later and keep on playing with your current bankroll, just with a big bonus :D

LOLOL I am literally laughing myself to death here !

Reading this E-book called: Party Poker Cracked.
It is the most ridiculous sh*t I will probably ever read and it's cracking me up.

Some of the ridic stuff he claims:

First off his proof that this guide will work:
'Due to privacy, I will not tell anyone how much money I made on
Party Poker.com last year but I can tell you that my play money
account is over 60 million dollars (note the screen shot)! '

Then he gets into some starting hands:
btw the bet amounts are apparantly based on 25c/50c no limit with a $25 buy in for some reason.

'AA KK QQ.

Whenever you get one of those 3 hands, two other players will indefinitely
have a pocket pair as well a large percentage of the time. And youíll know
by the way unless you are first to act because the betting will start getting
really big pre-flop. This scenario happens very often. I would say that 40%
of the time that 1 of the 2 smaller pocket pairs will flop a set (Three of a
kind.)

This means your AA KK or QQ are liabilities in PARP. Donít get me wrong
I win with these ìgreatî starting hands but itís only about 20% of the time.

Knowing this I will not call a raise, or place a bet more than $5 preflop with
AA, KK, or QQ!!!!! If I bet $2 and it goes to $10 I am usually going to lay
that hand down (fold). I almost always check these hands. After the flop, if I don't get a set I usually fold if there is a bet over $1.

I used to raise, call, reraise, check-raise, you name it with these hands only to be sickened at the outcome in PARP.

Here is why this happens in PARP. You will come to a table and after
playing for awhile with correct strategy you will usually win 3-4 hands and
your money will be doubled-tripled on average. (You started with a $25 buy
in meaning you have $50-$75 at the table.)

Once this happens, (Because of party poker's fairness policy), the website
will literally COME AFTER YOU. You will start getting 3,4, or 5 Pocket
pairs within just 10 hands. (Statistically impossible.)

Your temptation and possibly greed will be so overwhelming you will be
tempted to go all in with your pocket Aces, Kings, etc. Watch out because
you will see the worst bad beats in history.'

This guy is my new GOD. AA, KK, QQ ? Throw them away. Garbage.
LOLOL :D

I am tempted to throw that little poker article up on every ghost website and torrent so that it gets around the internet and people use it for sound coaching information.

OMG, eNTy, where has that ebook been all my life? I'm going to have to throw my whole game away. Big pocket pairs suck, I had no idea. But wait... it's *just* for Party Poker, though... damn it all to hell!!!!!!!!

Merry Christmas to you too, combuboom. I hope there's a fantastic ebook in your stocking this year. ;)

I am not playing a single hand today, although I am entered in 5 freerolls which I will get blinded out in. Currently up is UB $50 and I am doing better than I usually do. Maybe I will all-in blind to the money. Huh?
