He also has to beat 5 other hands playing oop assuming BB doesn't squeeze. You don't hit dream flops 10% of the time and if you think you do then you're going to stack off against better hands too often. Meh idk after I think about it actually not too bad considering 56s is a decent hand to play multi-way. I guess I just don't like when people call with like 83o in that spot and say "but I had 9:1 so I had to call". Plus I'm a nit and when a decision, especially preflop, is close I usually just fold .

i agree that people complete too often with total garbage just cause they think they're priced in. but a suited connector getting 9:1 immediate, 50 BB stacks, against tourney donks, there's just no way i'm folding ever. plus it's an MTT so the times we do crush it and accumulate a lot of chips to help us go deep outweigh all the times we call, c/f and lose 15 chips

Had my special first day at 50nl 6max. Read my blog if you want the details but basically dropped a buyin and was happy about it. Tomorrow looking to really approach the game with a better understand of what people do and why. Should be a hoot. Started with Harrington on Cash Games.

Hopefully I can learn something and stick with a poker book long enough to actually do. It is my first one ever so will let you know what I think

Anyone any experience with harrington on cash games vol 1 ?

Zach and I decided to try to release a 10NL-200NL video series playing a session at each limit (FR and 6max) where hopefully we will both be analyzing play in each video. Just need to figure out how to get the audio to come through on both ends. Gonna try to do 1 limit per week for the next month so be on the lookout.

Here's what I did to get that to work:

1. I used Skype + Mikogo
2. I turned my speakers up LOUD (I have GREAT PC speakers)
3. I used my mic (I have a BLUE SNOWBALL mic, it's awesome) to record myself AND the speakers while recording in Camtasia

Can't Camtasia capture straight from your sound card?
