Well, as many of us know, to achieve a good result, we'll need to win a lot of coin flips throughout the tournament, and be lucky against bad beats.
I don't believe it's a game of luck because practically 90% of the game is under our control, so we have a very large margin to avoid exposing ourselves to complicated spots... or even before that becomes necessary (this exposure).
So, everything depends on the player's considerations. I myself, for example, have a friend who can't under any circumstances consider that the game isn't 100% luck.
One thing that helps understand this, which even happens to this friend, is to study the game, study the situations, and so on.
We study and thus avoid crazy plays that might depend solely on luck.
For example, seeing a lot of flops, with any hand, drains our chips, so we need to play according to a certain range of
hands. Just because it's cheap to see the flop doesn't mean we're going to try our luck... lol
