its not a sport and it is not a game of luck ,luck make make 30
% and good play 70% . better on a live table cause you can see the behavior of players

Well as much as we people... the ones who play it would like to consider it a sport it will never be considered as one by the general public. It will always be a game of cards , a way of gamble ..

I agree with you. Traditionally, sports require physical activities. Poker and chess are not really sports. They are like card game, board game etc.

I don't think poker is a sport, but I also don't consider it a game of chance. Poker is Poker. I can't even classify Poker as 'a' card game. Maybe it's 'The' Card Game! Poker is Unique!

To me i think that poker is a game of chance and luck of the draw. so I don't consider poker a sport..

Interestingly, in my country poker is considered to be gambling and it is hard to prohibit it, play only in casinos and specially organized tournaments in which cash cannot be won but only material prizes.

The truth is, if a game like chess, because it has a strategy, ways of analyzing the game according to your opposition.
I think all sports have some kind of physical activity, and I can't find any poker.

Of course- Chess is considred a sport, and frankly poker is a lot harder to be one of the top players. Hell dominos is considered a sport. Poker is a sport of the mind.
