I basically gamble it all away, I can't recall one time I ever won money from poker cash games or tournaments and just withdraw the money and keep it. But my gambling addiction always craves more action, especially on blackjack and 3 Card Poker. The later is good fun tbh, since you can lose the hand but still win a big bonus, but yeah, I don't know when I am gonna reach the stage of not gambling away winnings in general.

But last night, I won a 25 dollar bounty from the partypoker sunday party 150k prize pot that I entered from winning a ticket through qualification. Then on a high stakes cash table I turned the 25 dollars into 114.50 dollars, my idea was to play some 3 card poker and stop when I get below a certain amount, but went over to BJ instead and lost it all due to a rough session.

Is anyone else the same as me in this regard? I should mention also that I am financially stable so these kind of loses aren't serious. Poker itself is also a gambling game, but one that's not like Blackjack for example that the luck factor isn't massive that does require some skill to made certain calls or folds.

I used to do something similar, specially after a negative session playing SNG.

Usually, i would go to sports bets and try to recover the loss, but in general it would just make for a larger loss

What i did to minimize the losses was to separate part of my bankroll just for gamblingor playing in higher buy-in tournaments

In your case, i would've destined 14.50$ for gambling, and the other 100$ to keep grinding

Also a good way to save money was to keep the gambling money on a different website than the money for poker

If the losses are insignificant for you, then you do not need to think about it.

I keep a healthy bankroll with the poker site for my micro play. Over the years I have withdrawn a few thousand dollars whenever I have hit the rare big score...

i do the same
Not because I play casino games
but because my game selection never agrees with bankroll management
If you are not using bankroll management, you are gambling
Trust me I have an avg. ROI of +80%
But I have no bankroll,
because I never had a proper bankroll to apply management to
Learn from others mistakes

What you need to do is this
5947564f63fd1b40a4a463c035ca41cb.png

If you want to play games and gamble,
there are plenty of free sites in which to gamble play money on super loose slots and such
You will lose all your play money regularly
If freeplay casinos beat you
what do you think the real thing is gonna do to you
losing money is not fun
Gambling is not fun
Winning money is fun

If its just bounties or small wins I just leave it in the bank to re-use but if I get a big win or finish high in the money I try and withdraw most of it and again just leave a bit to play again.

I have taken out money when I have scored big. The biggest being 9K for porcilain flooring that my wife wanted for our house. I always leave at least 100 buyins in my account.

As I only play freerolls, I let what I earn during the year accumulate, and I withdraw part of that money in all the rooms I play, usually in the month of December.

Ps: With the money I buy clothes and milk for my eleven children.😱😁🤣

I usually spend less than 1% of total bankroll per day. Not playing above such limit, used to have this limit at 3%, but 1% is better. So far BR only growing at all sites and I deposit maybe once every 3-5 years when I need to update my bank card details. Withdrawals? Sure, from time to time.

I spend a part and the rest goes to my bankroll to continue playing, the goal is that every month my bankroll increases by at least 10%.
