Short of wearing a lot of poker room/forum decals or sunglasses indoors, I'm not sure how a poker player dresses.

Of course some women choose to wear, shall we say, "distracting" sweaters/blouses but that's probably not what you're referring to.

i dont think its poker dress .its used for the people who can not hide face expressions .

I mostly just wear my jeans and a t-shirt or golf shirt. Sometimes I'll wear more dressy clothes if I think it might help present some kind of stronger image at the table or an image where the other players might think I'm the mark at the table.

Sometimes I'll be wearing my ballcap at the tables but I don't ever wear sunglasses...they just don't feel right to be worn indoors and I don't really worry about giving off tells by not wearing them as I can keep a pretty stoic demeanor while playing.

how to dress when you play seems to be relevant. Your goal is to give your opponents a certain impression of what type of person you are. And hopefully you can play off of that impression.

I find that I actively pay more attention to the hoodie sunglasses ninjas, so I'm not sure 'dressing like a poker player' is the best meta.

I'm an asphalt cowboy, I act like it and dress like it. I like westerns, they're 80% of the movies I watch

. At the movie scene, when the cowboys are in the saloon, playing poker and drinking whisky, I drink too. Of course, wearing my hat!

Dress like a poker player? What in the world does that even mean? The best thing about playing poker for me is that I can come and go as I please. I don't have to wear a "uniform". LOL, I guess you are talking about hoodies and sunglasses ? Actually, I think you are behind the times. Just check out some of the poker VLOGS and streams that are all over the internet. It seems that most poker pros are just wearing casual clothes.

I haven't really seen a particular style at the tables. I see a lot of different looks.
From hoodies that are pulled down, with sunglasses, to some wearing suits and no glasses at all. It looks to me that people are wearing what they usually wear, either comfortable T-shirts or going all out and dressing up for the event.

I haven't played in a casino as of yet, but I think I would wear something comfortable and judging the coolness of the place I finally do play at, to make sure I am warm enough but not hot. If it can be helped.

Everybody has heard of Golf, Tennis, Football, Basketball .... outfits, but never have we ever heard about poker clothing, most people dress as they dress casualy

Hoodie and jeans/sweatpants/casual shorts are the typical poker look. Backpack if you really wanna advertise that you're a grinder. I personally dress like a bum and go to the casinos in sweats and sometimes sandals everyday... I just wanna be comfortable.
