very often listen to instrumental music while playing poker to me to relax and to pass time less think of how many times you sit and play , otherwise it is not easy to play 4-5 hours of poker tournaments with many participants last for so long that not a note that was dark and you stoned of seating

, I recommend that everyone listen to music while playing poker I then forget the poker table and go to sleep like a baby

, has a tournament every day and you can play whenever you want

Definitely can be distracting.. I find that I focus more on the music than the player acting in front of me. It's just a hazard for disaster. You end up playing your hand, and not your opponent. Imo

Your playing style will also tend to shift to the music.. i.e: if you listen to death metal, you might play more aggressively or angrily.

but on the flip side, music is known to give you an adrenaline rush. So maybe if someone could harness that at the table, they'd be more focused/aware.

Instrumental music is a good choice to stay calm and focused on the game. Besides, i believe that helps to avoid the tilt also.

It all depends on my mood.
Sometimes the music is very distracting from the game.Usually I play without music when very tired after work.In those days i just want to sit quietly and play my favorite game.
In all other happened prefer to play with music.

not that often, I ussualy notice that I play like the music. I mean fast music, agresive, slow music tight.

It is better for me to just focus on the game and maybe sharing some stories with the other players
