I play for real money because that's what makes poker exciting for me. The competition is fun, but having something on the line makes every decision matter. Winning is a nice bonus, and if you play well over the long run, it's a fun way to make some extra money too.

I tried playing for money, but I didn't have the mental strength for it, the variance hurts a lot. Today I only play as a hobby.

I play poker for both reasons, because I really like to play poker, I enjoy it, I like the feeling of getting a final table, and I also like to make money playing poker 😎 I think that if I were a millionaire I would continue playing poker every day. 😆

I've been playing for almost 10 years and I play for money. Although when I started, I played for fun. As time passed, I gained experience, knowledge and this was the basis for further monetization of the game.

For me, it's a bit of both. I enjoy the strategy and competition, so I'd still play even if the stakes were small. Of course, winning money makes it more exciting, but if I stopped having fun, I don't think I'd enjoy the game nearly as much.
