Do you play poker while on family holidays?

I'm on holiday soon with my family and won't be playing any poker while I am away. I was just wondering whether any of you guys make the break while you're away with your families or whether you still play poker on holiday? And how you go about it!

No when i am at holidays i forget for poker i take a break. I relaxing drinking eating... i just don t want to be nervous or angry on holidays

A few years ago I went camping and got bored in the evenings and played on my phone App.
If you usually use a hud it's tough without one. I lost money that week! I don't usually lose! Let's face it though it's unsociable so why not take a break from the game concentrate on some quality family time. You could always take that poker book you've been meaning to read for years.

I agree BB, when we are on vacation I never play any poker, that time is for my family for us to enjoy our reconnection time.
IMO, if you're unable to unplug for short periods of time that are extremely important in maintaining your family Circle, you might have a problem.

I just dont play if i travel, but in holidays that i stay at home, of course theres some time to poker

Thats my thinking. There are many times where there is totally nothing going on when at the beach or chilling by the pool or wherever, that could be used to get in some felt time but my monkeys know how I love my felt time and the fact that only choose to initiate the building of sand castles or just a game of Yahtzee with them, means the world to them.

Its a very small effort on our part but translates huge on their end.

Most often give a break to poker, but for my part I have an obsession or holiday can stop playing , I sometimes annoying obsessiveness the game can not be sidelined for a day , it 's something every day, if I win I want to play to win and if I lose more I play to win for losing , or take rest tions , ****ing obsessiveness : c

i try played poker when i have some time, but to play tournamnet need a lot of time, so sometimes at freerolls play just for fun

If I had gone on family vacations, yes. I mean, it wouldn't be my main priority other anything. But I would definitely play online at the end of the day when I'm just hanging out in my hotel.

holiday, vacation and Sunday dinner should still be paid to the family, just forget about poker and take a break, because the family that deserves to remain family still has to respect some things

Depends on the family - sometimes they just want me out of the road so they can do or watch something I'm not interested in and they know it - allow me peace and quiet and know my love of the game so cater for my wanting to play.

Of course you can't expect to maintain the same concentration but if you play for a bit of fun no problems.

Years ago nothing came before poker. And even though I have played while having a family gathering, those times are becoming less and less. I have plenty of time to play poker. It will always be there.
