I try to squeeze poker in whenever I can. I find I play a bit in the afternoon, and a bit at night. I generally have the most energy and willpower later afternoon, and early evening.

I was at the local card room from 6:30pm to 6:30am other night over weekend. 10/10 would do it again and again when the table conditions are right. if I didn't have plans later in next day and had more time to sleep i would've stayed until the ATMs left lol.

But overall I prefer evening play; I've actually yet to try live casino play before 5pm but want to sometime just for fun. I used to play during day online more but now mostly evenings.

Online def depends on time zones. I can log on at 1pm and catch Eastern European or Asia players night time players or I can log in later in my local time evening and catch some US or Western side players.

Live it seems I do best on Fri and Sat nights after like 9pm.

The night time brings out different people and more people. You'll also see this in live play as well. You'll see more people on the weekends and holidays. No matter where you play online though you will have players just waking up and players that have been up all night.

I prefer the night, as there is complete silence, during the day it is more difficult, but gradually I get used to it.

As I live in Canada, alot of players I play against are usually from a time zone that is 9-13 hours ahead, they are drunk or tired and make mistakes, sometimes those mistake cost me chips because they get lucky by hitting 2 pair or straight against my flopped set.
And there are soooo many of those dumb ass players where you know damn well their parents should have worn a condom, but alas, it's almost always the slow sperm that wins the race.

I totally agree, I am in Mexico and when I wake up, most of the russian already seem to be drunk. In the night there are very few tournaments and the competition is much harder.
