When they have a bad streak and feel frustration, do they think about quitting playing poker?
Or is leaving it not a possibility?

Or is leaving it not a possibility?

Sounds scary
What do you mean, like all the money and you sold your car?
I think unless you are a professional gambler for living - you should not even have such question.

Whom do you mean by "they"?

If you mean poker players in general, then no, I don't think players quit of frustration. Unfortunately, you can easily go broke playing poker if you are not careful, I think this is the main reason.

You don't get a divorce after just one fight with your wife so why would you stop playing poker after a bad run? Get back on top of both and have some fun!

Hello, sooner or later you are going to have a bad streak, that is why it is important to take into account your bankroll, play within the limits so as not to lose all your money, remember that poker is relative. Greetings

This is the reason why having a strong bankroll management is important. You will inevitably have absurdly bad runs in your career, add an tilt to the equation and it becomes dangerous. Play responsibly

It depends on what you mean by losing everything, do you mean losing everything you had in chips in a game, losing your money on a poker platform or going bankrupt due to the vice of the game? Your question is very open and gives rise to a lot of hard. Still, I think that if you mean losing your assets, it is the immediate time to withdraw from any game. Regards.

I'm not quitting but I've scaled back significantly. I used to think I could out run bad runs. Ten years later and I'm still running and getting nowhere.

When the black streak goes for a long time, I take breaks from the game.

If a person does not succeed and poker has become a problem for him, you definitely need to quit the game. Or maybe just tired.

In every game, I aim to win, whoever doesn't try doesn't win, but there are no invincibles in poker and no streaks affect my attitude towards poker. I try to play according to my abilities and feelings, and CC freerolls are a good opportunity not to worry about failure at all.

not a car, of course.
we are talking about a bankroll that sometimes slightly exceeds $15.
but for me, such a loss means that I have driven myself into poverty. there comes an absolute depression and the thought that poker is not for me. and then, after a while, I suddenly get to win some $0.75-$1 in the cardschat freerolls, and the epic of dreams of millions begins again.
an uninhabited island can solve such a problem, but I won't be able to reach such remote places...

I don’t think quitting is an option after only one bad streak. In my opinion all successful poker players have bad streaks and the way you deal with this is what will make a winner player or not. You need to keep studying, making the right plays and follow your bankroll management, one day the bad streak will end.

When you have a series of bad beats you have to sit and analyze your game and realize where you are wrong, if you consider that you still played well but the cards didn't help you, try to change your style of play a bit ...
