It better be possible! I keep trying to prove it is but keep screwing up by losing my freeroll winnings. I get to the $50 range and get impatient, greedy, or just unlucky. Maybe this year it will happen!

Wow, what an inspirational thread! I'm up to $1 at FTP. Hope to see that grow as I get better and get enough to bankroll a couple of paid tourneys. That's when the money can really grow. Great job all who have worked their way up from nothing!

I have never been able to do that myself, there was a time I started to build it up playing freerolls but didnt last long and actually it probably the hardest way to build up a bankroll next to playing micro sngs because they dont pay much and you end up sitting hours just to win a few pennies sometimes

i'm doing what i call a 52% challenge. i'm trying to do 52% of what Chris Ferguson's challenge. My goal is to go from $0 - $5,200 if I get there I plan to donate $2704(52% of 5,200)to the the "save the childrens foundation" as that was the charity Chris donated the 10k to. I was fortunate enough to get a gig getting paid to "test" challenges for fulltilt before there released in the academy. although this money isnt money i've won i decided to count it towards my BR for the challenge which is over $1K as of now. you can read about it at fulltilts forums i got a thread there under poker news.
