Many won't like this....and its against my normal MO, however.... I have to say that it's best to shy away from any drug use during play. Alcohol, or otherwise...

You see, our instincts are extremely valuable, irreplaceable really. When influenced by an outside substance, your instincts are muted and become difficult to receive...

To take it seriously and to attempt to make a living with poker, one must not use outside substances. If you're simply playing for the entertainment of the game and can afford to lose what your playing with, it really doesn't matter... Play on.

Interesting. As someone with ADHD, I have to play while stoned. And I still do well. Being stoned helps curb boredom, a bankroll killer.

Years ago I used to think I done everything better while I was high. But finally I thought if I was doing everything better, why was I always in some kind of trouble. I've played with some players that I knew had to be drunk, because they were throwing chips every where and losing and laughing about it. I'm sure when they looked at their BR the next morning, they said they would not do that again LOL

Not nearly enough. I'd prefer if all my opponents smoked. There have even been occasions where they've tried to get me to smoke because that's the only way they'd get an edge on me.

If you find that you play better high, then your game needs a lot of work.
