I think drugs are bad in any way though for the game of poker though for something else,friends lead a healthy lifestyle! drugs are DEATH!!!

Reality check because using drugs doesn't make you a better player it just enhances and alters your abilities in different ways to set yourself in a mood altering state. Just because some people do it better this way doesn't necessarily mean you should be doing it too. It's really what's comfortable for you!

I think any drugs and alcohol is not good for the game. Some players seem to be drugged by the way they play.

As a high strung person, I use marijuana to stay calm and cool while playing. My mind races frequently when I havnt smoked. I am much more patient overall while high and more in tune with other players bluffing tendencies

I drink (technically a drug) and I barely use over the counter meds of any kind. I'm no prude. Smoke pot all you want for whatever reason you want. Most other manufactured drugs are bad mmmmkkkk? I lost my once very successful professional career brother to meth after a 2 year slide into the dark world of meth and a car accident that threw him through the windshield during an 80mph barrel roll when his girlfriend fell asleep cuz they didn't have any meth to keep them awake after 72 hours awake. Don't do drugs. Wear your seatbelt. Live!

WEED and POKER

I have been smoking weed for about 3 years of my life and now that i wish to stop to improve poker and other qualities in my life i find it hard to quit.. Anyone here have any tips on how to quit? I know this may seem off topic, but i seem to just want to smoke more when i play poker cause bad beats make me just want to handle it with a hit. How do i change my thinking on it, and other activities you may of done besides poker when trying to quit yourself, also did you notice any change in mental clarity as far as poker skill comes. Sorry for the Stoner post on here, i just feel it plays a part in some poker players lifes, at some point.
