Drunk Poker?

Do you consume alcohol while playing poker? Have you ever played poker drunk?

I tried few times. It goes well. I take my loses better rather then i'm straight. Plus when i won, random hand i am so happy

and that joy made you unbeatable

I drink beer when I play poker very often. I can not call myself a very good poker player. But in my opinion these two statements are not interrelated.

Yes, I do! Every thursday I prepare for the drunk donk. Whatelse would THAT tournament be for? ( and it seems everybody is drunk there, even the donks, lol)To be honest, it's possible, but you will be without chances at a final table.

When drinking while playing poker you should know your limits. You might have a few drinks loosen up ,but not six or more unless your tolerance is higher. I usually drink about one beer per every forty five minutes. I have played online and cashed in a six hour game taking 4th place. I have played live while drinking and after thirty seven minutes was at 1,700 in chips when the bring in was 500 sitting at the 1/2 no limit table. I know I drank about four or five crown and cokes during that run of cards. It was crazy I had pocket aces on button and utg had pocket kings he raised to ten, I reraised to twenty five. He calls then flop comes ten high. He check raised me I moved all in he called and I won it was 1,167 pot! I tipped dealer green chip which is 25 bucks.

I suggest the combination of poker and alchohol will make you loose your money.You cant think clear ,,,and you may call withoute second thought.Never playing poker with alcohol is my advice.

When I am playing with friends absolutely there will be booze involved but online poker I don't think it is a good idea to easy to lose your discipline!

played a couple of times in a drunken state were wins and losses..the losses were more as a reaction to deteriorating decision-making and there are a lot of erroneous actions

I have never tried it, because I never drink alcohol, drugs and any other stimulants. I like to always remain in a sober state of mind. I like to control my physical and mental state.

When I play poker I try not to drink alcohol, because I once lost a lot of money when drinking alcohol and playing poker, now only tea or coffee!
