Wow. That's just wrong. I mean honestly it won't have that big an impact on your winrate because the player not in the hand could just as well give him the bad advice, but on the other hand it's still cheating.

Yea it was a couple of months back. I was at a FR table but there were only 3 people there(don't really know why I hadn't left?) but I had A/K and had just double-barrel bluffed when the player I wasn't playing against told the other guy to call b/c I was weak this hand. Blatant help imo

Are these steps to the warm-up/milli supposed to be easy for a decent player to beat? I've only played a few, so a very small sample, but not sure if it's worth it or not. I've wanted to play a big Sunday MTT for a long time and figured this would be good way to do it..

I would, but I'm too busy playing stud 8 & earning like 5 cents an hour, rather than playing 6-max and earning ~15$ an hour or whatever I make.

Blowing a couple BI's instead of playing ring. We're alike :D.

I have not run well at the beginning of any month ever since i started playing poker. My first 5 days are always like this, i don't understand.

My new trend seems to be dropping $500 at the start of every session, which is alot of fun.

Anyways i had a wonderful start to Feb. First day i moreorless broke even, second day i managed to lose $2500 or thereabouts. Played this crazy manaic and was $1100 deep effective at one stage and yea well lets just say losing a couple of 75:25s that deep it is pretty easy to lose $2k+. One hand where villain hit a backdoor flush (where i had 2nd top set) literally ended up costing me about $2000. After losing a >200bb pot i even open shoved KK (looks like mega tilt) which i was luckily enough to get the very next hand and villain SNAPS with A2s and hits the ace ofc. Was that kinda day.

Anyways, fortunately it seems my other trend is having like a $1500 day the very next day, and it only took me 5k hands in the end to get back slightly positive.

Fwiw, over these last 5k hands i have been a fair bit below EV and my W$SD is 43% !!!!!! So not quite sure how i have been running good during that period...just goes to show that overall poker luck is impossible to measure. But yea it is pretty hard to play when you can't win a pot to save your life (had one 1000 hand session with 35% W$SD). But all things considered i am actually really really happy with my play for the first time in ages. Been making some nice reads and i've actually grown some balls as of late to completely trust my reads and make some big plays that i was hesitant to do beforehand.

Zach steals 100% from SB and cbets 100% too. That makes funny things to people's minds.

Note that I'm only posting the hands that I find funny and/or when I own them. I've definitely been owned a ton at 400nl where basically they're making moves that I used to be one of the only ones making. I've been value-towned several times when they have second pair, and in general people hand-read very well, but this is a classic case of what I was talking about in the micro thread about people adjusting well. Why go anywhere near GTO play when stealing 100% will make some players adjust horribly? I mean his preflop call and maybe even his flop call were fine. But on that turn he should probably raise if he thinks I'm full of shit or fold. And then to call on the river too is absolutely atrocious obviously.

OMFG i thought i had run bad in the past, but i know realise that was nothing compared to know. Dropped like 15 buyin yesterday while getting money in bad 5 times.

todays session, drop 7 buyins in like 12 games, without getting the money in bad once. And im being dead serious, not once did i get the money in bad. This was my personal favourite

it's not omahaha babble, it's high/low babble.

you chop when one wins the high and the other wins the low. you scoop when you win both high and low.
