In this spot sometimes on the flop I like to just make a small 3-bet. Make it like $4.50 or something or even just min 3-bet. Basically the logic is that no matter what you do 55 and probably AA is paying you but what you want is to get hands like 99-QQ to pay you off as well as random bluffs (possibly with a flush draw) to continue. Raising that small just looks ridiculous to the opponent and he can easily convince himself that you have nothing but think/know he has nothing and are trying to get him off it.

Obviously if he has nothing and doesn't feel like spazzing out we're not going to get any more money anyway, but I think the small min-raise gives him every opportunity to spazz out while calling here actually looks stronger.

Your line is fine though, apparently he just didn't have a hand.

I'd either click back the flop, or donk the turn smallish again. Might be an arguement for check/raising the river as played as well. Lots of small pairs just had their hand turn into nothing, so they may be forced to bluff the river.

How's Mansion Poker? Today, I received an e-mail from Pokerstrategy that I'm getting free $50+$100 on Mansion without having to deposit.
I'll probably mess with this roll like crazy and try to bruteforce it up to something big. Will probably bust it in the process but it'll be fun.

Last time Pokerstrategy gave me $50, I shortstacked myself to $1,500 in a couple thousand hands on Party. So that's the minimum I'm aiming for

+i just droped 2 more buy-ins in 500hands.
Kinda sucks since im just about rolled for 25NL but after i started losing my confidence just got shoot and im scared to move up just yet

Jagsti and anybody else who plays on ipoker, how active are the midstakes HU tables (like 200-1000nl)? Did you guys get good rakeback deals? If so how?

I figure paying double rake probably isn't the endo f the world if the games are soft (not sure) and you get decent rakeback. Party just isn't that active so i'll probably need to play 2 sites once i move above 1/2.

I just had a fantastic day. Grinded out over 2k hands and although I am trying Jake's ways of not constantly looking at your BR, couldn't help but glance tonight and see a +7 BI day. I'd love to beat 10nl at better than 2BB/100 this month

Break from cash has been enjoyable and stuff, but I still feel that the real cash lies at cash (oddly enough).

Just wish I could get back to a winning game. Although it seesms that I still can at 10nl I have yet to put in a session longer than 20 mins before I get bored and am not running a tourny at the same time..

1 hour session with Mr IceMonkey9..he did get very unlucky with KK<A5 after a very lame suck out, but he did end up + and rest is none of our beezwax. We both ended up positive which is good.

More sessions like this please.

sigh i cant sleep. dropped $1300 on nothing but absurd beats and coolers one after another after another after another. it's just impossible to run bad in virtually every single hand you play at every single table for hours on end and not feel like it's somehow orchestrated against you. and i'm still way behind in my hands prop bet. time to kill myself

I hav'nt really checked out the HU tables since my last free $5 on Titan (ran it up to $400 playing HU plo

) I am playing the FR tables mainly the 8 player ones.

As for the deal i got on Paddy Power, its a 150% deposit bonus, which is clearing pretty easily, and a level boost in thier VIP programme. The VIP scheme seems better to me than stars, the equivelent of gold star nets me $120 in straight cash without any clearance, and I get to keep the points, which can also be transfered for cash.

I don't have a rakeback deal, but once my bonus is cleared im gonna whore another skin until PP offers me another reload bonus.

Edit : Oh and seriously there is so many more fish on i-poker than on stars, the shortstackers are so bad that I actually don't overly mind playing with 3-4 of them on my tables. (Raise QJ UTG, and stack off to a 3bet type bad)

My thoughts exactly. Three straight days of running like total shit. None of my 15 outters are hitting AIPF, my AA might as well be 72, KK might as well be tarot cards. This is just sick!
