I have always thought that Poker will help me a lot in my life if I use it correctly, leaving it could be an option but I firmly believe that it would not be the right thing to do.

It's hard to stay positive after constantly running bad. It makes you second guess your game or if poker is beatable. Sometimes the best thing is a timeoff/break without poker and comeback with that passion to crush.

Ive thought about quitting solely based on the amount of time I was spending each day. I noticed I was prioritizing poker over many more important things. These thoughts hit the hardest after a bad beat. It makes playing not as fun and more of a job.

when I go on a run of getting it in good 80/20 type shoves and have them draw out on me multiple times in huge spots over a couple sessions, it really sucks the life out of me. but in the end the sun runs draw me back in and make me realize that the numbers work out in the end.

Leave your account of negative moments that left you on the path to giving up poker.
Leaving it, never, is like my job, I just take a break, or as they say, vacations and go back to the tables repowering.:joyman::D

I don't think about it yet. The game doesn't take much of my time.

Not permanently

I’ve always had it in the back of my mind, especially on a downswing it gets hard to play. You think to yourself why am I even playing and it’s normal but you just got to try and take breaks and play what you can afford or play free. I love the game and it doesn’t matter weather I win or not even though winning is always nice. But I would only stop playing temporarily poker is more or less my life right now though.

I never thought about it, I play for fun, poker for me is not a means of earning, of course I consider winning a good bonus, I want to win a large amount, but for this I will not go crazy, like I am millions and I understand it perfectly

To be honest, I was going to quit playing poker many times, probably it becomes sad or pulls on adventures or pulls your nerves, you still open the client and continue to play)))))

I thought about quitting many times. But I thought it's better to study and get better instead of being a quitter. As long as you play what you can afford to lose and keep learning you're fine.

Not really. I've taken a break from time to time and sometimes for longer periods of time without really thinking about it too much, but I've never made a conscious decision to quit.
