Many many times. I can say that I have already quit poker. I have been downswing for half a year, which can be seen on sharkscope. I only play freerolls, I don’t make a deposit and I don’t intend to.

Quitting poker or quitting deposit

I am seriously thinking about not to deposit or reduce my deposit and use free roll as much as I can
Of course I have my own reasons

Yes, several times I have thought about quitting poker, due to frustration or lack of time, but the reality indicates that I always try again and again, although at times and lack of time I can take a year or two away.

The thought never entered my head, I play because I enjoy playing, winning or losing is not important as I manage my bankroll and NEVER! risk more than I am willing to lose, I once told a Friend I had over $150 in my Pokerstars account, and now buy-in for 50 cent and $1 games, he said "he would play 3 X $50 games", and I replied "yes and lose everything in 3 games.
He regularly deposits $50 a month playing on his favorite site and loses regularly, I on the other hand, now have over $500 in my Pokerstars account and have never made a deposit, because I keep the stakes low and play for fun.

When the fun Stops, STOP!

While learning the game, I lost a lot of money and figured I’d take a break but never quit. Love the game to much. And the way I figure it, there is no such thing as a professional slot machine player or professional blackjack players and with that said it has always given me hope to make it to the big leagues with poker.

I've thought about it and actually done it a few times in the past.

For a few years I was doing the low/mid stakes IRL grinding. It gets to you after a while and I hung it up for the past 7 years. Since pandemic I've been missing it a lot, though, and enjoying online a lot in its place.

Frustrating tournaments and hands have led me to work on my game. Learn from mistakes or hands and figure out what I can do better. Many hands I would blame on a bad beat where I now see how poorly I played the hand. For example, Instead of 3 or 4 betting preflop I may have checked behind and let the BB in cheaply and he then flops the nuts or a great draw. Frustration leads to motivation.

Went off subject but no I don’t ever think of quitting.

I'm sure everyone has thought of it after a really bad beat and I have taken extended breaks sometimes years long breaks after a really long bad streak. This last break was a few months and I just started playing again in the last few days. I will say though, if you do take a break still stay active on CardsChat...that was my biggest mistake because now I am back to square one with my freerolls pass word access

Every player at one time or another has thought of giving poker up, if not permanently then temporarily. I think the reason could be that the standard of players they meet is so poor, they are tired of getting beaten with 7/2 off, or something similar
