It is very weird for me, I'll have one 12oz beer with low alcohol content. I find that it makes my thinking more streamlined. I lose the over thinking big hands, and make decisions faster. Not sure if they are right though, haha.

Nil. I reserve my consumption of spirits for very special occasions, so I never consume alcohol while grinding the poker felt. When I play live poker, I do like to be at tables where there are people consuming alcohol. Those are usually very fun games for me. Lately I have been contemplating the relationship that fun has to poker for me. I concluded that winning at poker is exhilarating but the act playing poker in and of itself is not much fun at all. It can be quite brutal at times. To each his own but I would imagine that the only benefit alcohol would offer while playing poker is merely numbing the pain when you make those mistakes that define a session.

It all depends

I always have a smoke while playing, and it does affect my game, sometimes for the best and sometimes for the worst. If you're playing a really important tournament or cash games i would recommend not drinking

When you are playing poker do not drink alcohol, you can not reason properly the moves, I tell you this from my own experience.

It is dependent of the mood sometimes help a bottle of beer to be relaxed and you play better poker and sometimes you can't concentrate of this

doesnt effect me at all, i dont drink ,but i had couple of times n found that i was more aggressive, which that is not me either, i want to learn to be more aggessive o n my terms, lol

Alcohol makes me feel tired and unfocused while playing poker. I prefer drinking fruit juice, tea or just normal cold water to stay fresh and concentrated. But if you just wanna relax and kill some time while playing poker then a limited amount of alcohol is fine.

It is not advisable to drink when you are in session. Neither online nor live, it totally changes the way of play and risks, I speak for myself and for what I observed !!!

Of course I drink alcohol sometimes, sometimes too much ..... but honestly I just can't play drunk. In a state of intoxication, I make many mistakes, get nervous and just lose money. So I just don't play when I'm drunk.
