As in, "how much would someone have to pay me to never play poker again"?

For me, it is quite simple - It would have to be enough to guarantee lifetime security. I'd need a reasonable house and living expenses for the next 50 years, so we'd probably be looking at £2,000,000.

Let's be serious though, if somebody opened a briefcase with £100,000, or even £50,000, I'd take it. That would still have a huge impact on the quality of my life and more importantly, my family's lives.

I don't think this question is really about poker or a specific amount of money. A better way to ask it would be: how much money would you need to stop working and simply enjoy life at a comfortable, ordinary level? For many poker players, the game is more than just income - it's competition, challenge, and entertainment. Even with enough money, I think a lot of people would still play occasionally because they genuinely love the game.

That’s a tough one! I enjoy poker too much to quit for a small amount. It would have to be truly life-changing money, enough that I’d never need to think about finances again

Haven't played for nearly a year but money was never a motivation for me, so when ever I decide I have been away from the game long enough for Zorba to catch up skill wise I will probably start playing again.
