I was just about to finish an amazing session when some monkey flat-called a 4-bet with AQo out of position 100BB deep and flopped a 3-outer. Obviously I ship AK on a dry Q high flop vs. some tard.

The guy has lost $60,000 over the last 25K hands according to tableratings, so that calms me a little. Still tilted though because it was the last hand of my session.

Well evidently it beats something :)

It's a 3bet pot, and he donks twice on a big board. Enough to let you out easy there. People don't believe flush reps in 3bet pots, like ever. And I don't see him donking anything less than TP there.

First session of the month for me today, gogogogo

BW, if you had a flush draw on the flop, wouldn't you have raised? I just don't see what you're repping, besides sets, and there's only 7 of those. When you raise the turn, it looks more like you're semibluff raising the flushdraw, not the flush, and that makes calling the river a bit easier.

I don't mind calling the first donk, because that's going to be misses taking a stab at it often, so floating and betting the turn if checked to is OK. But when he bets the turn also, you have to let it go, I think. His turn bet is tiny, and he really looks scared, but that also makes it more likely that he actually has something and not just air.

rofl i just got slowrolled when this guy tanked on the turn with the nuts + nut flush draw against my pair + flushdraw, after peeling my multiway flop raise with no pair + gutshot. i thought i hit gin on the river when i made my backdoor flush, but he obv hits the higher flush

-lol @ everyone trying to play 200 tables to clear bonuses at the beginning of the year. it's like u guys are trying to win chuckee cheese tickets so bad so you can get a really cool prize, but you're spending tons of money on the tokens to play the games. play some good poker rather than maximizing volume. (this is why i'm going to try to play live 1x-2x a week, because it makes me focus/play good poker/find sick spots rather than just mashing buttons and watching porn as i do on the 'net)

Decided there was some wisdom in the above and decided to cut my number of tables in half. I do feel i played significantly better, so i may stick to that for a while.

Only thing now is to learn how to win coin flips. This should have been a much better day...

Ive also cut down my number of tables lately and I think I'm going to stick with it for awhile. I usually 12-table but have been sticking to 6-8 lately.

Yup, should have shoved preflop and been done with you :)

Was a stellar session, got taught lessons by Zach and BW and flopped sets only when bigger ones were out there.
