ITM but out. JJ < AA 2 hands after the bubble burst.

Well, $334.4 is not a bad return for a single $7.5 step 1 buy-in. :D

Run a lot of anti spyware and anti viruses now.
It's the next best thing if you do it every 2 weeks or so.

Progs like Norton or Zone Alarm are not very good anyway.

Well, you can use step 4 tickets to enter the $215 sunday tournaments, so if you start at step 1, you need to get top 2/9 to reach step 2, top 2/9 to reach step 3, and top 2/9 to reach step 4. And then if you bubble those, you don't fall from the stairs, just move down to lower steps.

It's all explained here for instance: http://www.pokerstars.com/caribbean-adventure/qualify/

Alright, I was thinking about giving em a shot sometime...and do I understand that you cannot unregister from anything you have used a Step ticket to enter?

no you can't. but step 4 allows you to play any of the $215 tournaments.

Alright are steps 2 and 3 good for anything besides getting to Step 4? Like for smaller MTTs or is the whole point to try to get to the $215?

no, afaik, the only levels where you can get out of the steps is step 4 tickets that can buy in the $215, and when you win the step 6 for big live tournament packages.

Quick Question: For those of you have already made the transition from 10NL to 25NL is there any major differences? If so what in your opinion? Are there any slight differences also ?

Less weak/tight, less stations, you start encountering regs who don't suck.

I think paddy power is going to be great so far. The bonus seems easy to clear, im getting a point per hand, i need 55K points to clear the $600 and i have 3 months to do it. Thats nl$50 FR.

As far as the VIP programme goes, making the equivalent of platinum on stars nets a $250 cash bonus and a quicker point accumulation rate. Gold (my usual level) nets $120.

in tournaments everything is standard, unfortunately. god i hate tournaments. going to get untilted, clear this bonus (not necessarily in that order) and then grind cash, where i can win even in spite of my ineptitude at all-ins. and not on stars either. stars hates my ****ing guts

Ok guys ...I've finally gotten around to enjoying ring play so I need all the help I can get. Holdem Manager seems to be what all you big kids play with...any deals on it anywhere or just go to their page and buy. Also can I load it on more then one comp in my household when purchased?

No deals (except in conjunction with other deals, like a stox membership). Yes you can put it on two PCs; not sure about 3 or more. You'll have to transfer hands back and forth between them though if you want to maintain the same DB on both of them.

If you join Stox for 1 month ($25) you can get the full version of HEM ($80) for $45, saving $10 (and getting the month of Stox as a bonus). If you have a few FT points you can get the Stox membership with them and then get HEM for $45. If you do join Stox to get HEM my username here might be good to type in the refferal box. ;)

No history with villain, new at the table, just ITM in the 200k i shove my last few blinds in with KJ and the shortstack in the BB uses his timebank before calling with QQ and typing "I got u" to knock me out.
Just wise i could have suckedout.....
