lol I can't win. Took the day off from the grind and watched some videos (Chuck's was great for all Stox members). Then figured may as well play a game I know I can crush and can't lose too much in, 50nl HU. 5 buy-ins later and I know otherwise. .

heh well unless you have played like 50k HU hands, i doubt you have experienced any sense of just how frustrating/impossible to win HU can be when you are running like crap. One minute it can seem like the easiest game possible and the next you can't win a pot to save your life.

lol someone convince me that Sunday warmup players don't understand which cards are good to bluff and all that jazz. How does KK bet an A river? Never mind that he got value out of my JJ :p.

edit: he had position so could have checked behind.

Very discreet imo :)

I've got two of the fishiest fishies in the world at my table. Just need to hope I get a chance to capitalise before running out of chippies.

idk that seems totally standard to me, at least in cash games, especially when somebody is playing their hand relatively face up. It works extra good often vs thinking players because the A is such a good card to bluff on the river that it gets villain thinking his (what is now a) bluff catcher is probably good, because you'd often think ppl would check behind an underpair once the ace falls (tho really, unless somebody is calling you down super light on certain boards there is almost no need to do so because for villain to have an A they have to river 2 pair).

Something like this...the only hand i'm scared of is obviously AJ and AJ is less likely than other options due to card removal and the fact that villain didn't want to get it in on the flop or turn.

Table Heads Up 1441490 (No DP) (real money)

I hate poker so much at the moment.

All my MTTs today so far were the AA<A5 sort of bullshit. Gonna have to move down again :(
