I realize I could buy from like ebay, but I want somewhere trustworthy...

I've played emulators (they have them hosted online now...) but I need the real controllers. I need the actual platforms. I need to blow in the cartridges before I play...

So I guess this just means go look for a small video game store and see if they have any of those old systems?

Just have bad history with it. Bought a jersey from a 99+ rep guy back in the day when $100 was like everything to me, and not only did he not send me the jersey but didn't reply to any of my emails or anything.

Will take anohter look at it though.

Very nice BW!

Finally got to hit the tables some today... So frustrated with how life keeps knocking me down right now. Feel like I've regressed some.

I think I'm going to get some coaching here soon though!

Yea if you have a used video game store where you live it should have at least a 64. Which, btw, if you happen to get, you must get the following:

Mario Kart
Diddy Kong Racing
Snowboard kids
007
Blitz

Luckily my friend and roommate has a 64 and these, so many great memories. Anyone else have some favorite games?

^^ I'll second this

And yeah chuck you are right, the classic systems are still a ton of fun.. I would still fire up SMB3 if I had the classic NES

It's well worth the $200 or whatever I'll spend total on all 3 systems and a shitload of games to have them for myself rather than some program on my PC. Emulators are sick, but I really want the systems :)

Villian is BAD 57/14/1 over ~45 hands. I'd been isolating him liberally and he'd generally been giving up to a cbet or occasionally on the turn. We had not gone to SD before this hand.

Anyway, is my turn raise amount enough considering his stack size?

Played some 100nl FR on Full Tilt. idk if it's just because it's the weekend but it was super fishy. +2 buy-ins in 600 hands. 12-tabled for about an hour and if I just did that every day next month I'd be getting free Stox+CR, whatever the ironman shit is for getting iron, and like $350 in rakeback (assuming the HEM rake figure is correct) every month. I plan on playing a bit more early to make it up to 200nl and then I can split time between the two. Got like 2k after today and probably start playing 200nl when I have like 3k. FTP players what kind of scripts do you use? Is there anything to hit the time bank? That's the most annoying thing so far and is preventing me from playing more tables. Also I seem to recall someone saying there was a script to position tables from both Stars and FTP easily (tile obv) and I didn't know where I coul find that. Thanks.

wv: yesh. imo. Only leaves 18 behind in a 35 pot if he calls. I guess you could shove the turn if you think he's often on a draw or something and will call, but your sizing looks fine to me.

I run goot btw.

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $4(BB) Replayer
SB ($422)
BB ($920)
UTG ($80)
UTG+1 ($400)
CO ($1,000)
Hero ($729)

Dealt to Hero JK

fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to $10, SB raises to $42, fold, Hero calls $32,

FLOP ($88) TTA

SB bets $33, Hero calls $33,

TURN ($154) TTAQ

SB bets $64, Hero calls $64,

RIVER ($282) TTAQ7

SB bets $283, Hero calls $283,

Hero shows JK
(Flop 12.2%, Turn 86.4%)

SB shows QA
(Flop 87.8%, Turn 13.6%)

Hero wins $846

flop was obv a float. Turn makes me lol.

Also I got a 20/17 reg to stack T7s pf, wee :)

zach: just search overcards.com. I think it's called stars buddy or something.

Honestly Zach, if you're going to play at FTP buying Full Tilt Shortcuts will be the best $35 (iirc) you can spend. It does your time bank, auto bet sizing, sit in/out on all tables, auto-focus table to cursor, and a million other things. It cost like $15/year for the latest major version and I don't want to remember what it was like when I played without it.

Not even going to read your post tbh. You know the drill. Cool off, get back into HEM, review your hands to see if you could have played better, improve, get back to the tables tomorrow. Just wait til -1k is your typical bad day :)
