yeah not at all, draws have you on the ugly side of flipping, and he often has Qx that just has you nearly dead

well, i was kind of expecting Qx and lower to fold. This is full ring. Supposedly people don't like to stack light...

anyway, i trust you guys. Probably shouldn't be playing while reading the "rigged investigation" thread. Too much adrenaline in the system makes you play over aggressive.

well that's fair enough but if you don't expect them to stack one pair hands, the majority of the time you're basically drawing dead if he does call. So you're like running a zero equity bluff for stacks in a single raised pot against a fish :/

I also kind of expect him to call with nut flush draws, tbh. And that's fine, because my second pair is worth something, then.

Board: 7d Qs 3d

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 56.465% 56.46% 00.00% 559 0.00 { 9d7h }
Hand 1: 43.535% 43.54% 00.00% 431 0.00 { Ad5d }

I don't, on the other hand, expect to be looked up by TT. :eek:

No, I shoved putting him on TT and expecting a fold. Seriously. I'm that good/bad/whatever you want to call it, but I really expected mostly a hand like TT. Flush draws and Qx hands either flat call or CR bigger than a minraise.

but you have absolutely no idea who this guy is. Someone who check minraises like this is generally not going to be a good player, so you have to really polarize his range to big hands, and MAYBE flush draws, although im not convinced. This is more sets, 2pairs, a,q/k,q more than anthing, of which your shove is really only getting k,q to fold. I would at no point but an unknown on 2nd pair after a c/mr

Board: 7d Qs 3d
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 78.608% 78.61% 00.00% 45135 1.50 { 77, 33, AdTd, Ad9d, Ad8d, Ad7d, Ad6d, Ad5d, Ad4d, Ad3d, Ad2d, KQs, Q8s+, KQo, Q9o+ }
Hand 1: 21.392% 21.39% 00.00% 12282 1.50 { 9d7h }

I just don't like it. Even if we take out those one pair Qx hands we need a fold way too often.

edit: we can't possibly put him on solely a med pair (and expect him to fold it) after 3 hands....

I can assure you that most of the time at 200nl fr, a c/mr is a medium pocket pair that missed its set and goes for a cheap bluff as he thinks you missed the flop.

Flush draws C/R bigger to improve their fold equity, and 2 pairs and sets C/R bigger too to look like flush draws.

probably more true in heads up pots though. i think you're way underestimating how much the fact that you're c-betting into 2 players and he has another player behind him who could have anything affects how much less likely he is to do it with a hand he's not ready to felt

I seem to run into a lot of fish that love to check min raise sets, although that is typically in 3bet pots and 6max(assuming this is FR even though only 6 players) so I dont know.

On a side note, anyone ever min raise 3bet pots? I dont have nearly enough hands but on certain boards (dry K or Q high) it seems to work pretty well against non terrible people.

hell, you don't want to see the shit I've been doing the last month, belgo :/ puts your little hand to shame in spewiness :D

I like 2-2.5xing it WM, works well against the right guys. Sometimes it's for value against AK when I know they'll peel the flop but fold on the turn :)

if you sure that he has a med pp, why not just call in position, since you beat most of his range, and a shvoe only gets called by hands that have you beat
