lol some random 100nl donk was complaining no one would sit with him because of tableratings or some shit so I'm like I'll help you start tables we 4-tabled for a bit and I won like 80 bucks off him in 50 hands and he didn't want to play anymore.

^So theres this other random donk I know who told me to post this for him.

I'm making a HU challenge open to anyone at Cardschat

you put up 200 to my 300. we play 15k hands HU and whoever wins gets to keep the winnings from the poker + the money we put up.

Anyway... there are obv a few conditions, im out of it- but off the top of my head:

1) .25-.50 minimum (nl/plo obv)2 table min.
2) can change tables anytime eff stacks are >250bb
3) have to reload when stacks are <75bb
4) $$ won in the challenge is kept obv
5) same stakes the whole time
6) not open to zachvac

hmm probly some other stuff but im out of it b/c i jus got owned @ some scrabble.

I might make a strategy article on 3bet pots sometime b/c I feel like i play better in them than any other reg at 100NL FR.

Yeah please do BW. I play ok in 3bet pots, but I still think I have some leaks there.

Also can you include how/if you adapt it to 6max as well.

There seems to be a lot of crap threads popping up lately, some that i can remember recently are, slowplaying pocket AA, an AAvsJ9 beat story that the guy played and acted terribly in, some guy asking how to make a soul read and put somebody on AK!! i don't know if its a phase in a forums life cycle or something and they'll go away in a few months but atm i'm only reading the 3 monthly threads and the HA section.

I'm glad i found this forum a long-ish time ago because if i stopped by here now i think i'd just pass right through, unless of course i was one of the thousands of frw's, then i'd just put up 70 useless posts and get in the club, which, although its a fair idea b/c you obviously want contributing members to get the fruits of the freerolls, it also fuels a lot of bad advice from people trying to rack up their post count, which from the outside looking in makes us look like a forum full of idiots.

Theres some awesome advice from some equally awesome players on this forum, dsvw's exploiting opponents as a prime example recently, but it's starting to be hidden under a growing pile of garbage threads.

Thats the end of my rant, sorry if i piss anyone off but i'm really cranky in the morning lol

Id actually say on the surface it seems easier, because the fish are worse, and lots of people don't like to fold. Its just i have won like 2 3bet pots so losing that many, and being a ton below ev, and getting coolered a bunch, just standard variance shit hurts

Just listened to a clip of dn's interview, pro poker players are starting to piss me off a tad with all their, yeah man, first hand, we all just put like 100k in each and just ran it with the cards turned over, fair enough, they've got the money to do that and if they want to then who am i to stop them but are they just walking around with their eyes closed to what else is going on in the world, there's a lot of people in financial hardship these days and dn spouting off about betting 100k (more than most people could earn in 5 years) blind just takes the piss really, keep it behind closed doors guys, the financially challenged real world doesn't really want to hear about things like that right now lol

Actually, i don't think 200nl is any harder than 100nl, at least for Full Tilt. It might be for PS as regs who chase SNE tend to play 200nl.

At stars, I'd say the skill level doesnt increase greatly at 200NL, theres just a TON more regs and less fish. At FT it seems theres still a good amount of fish at 200NL.

Just been playing two 9 man sngs in one get took out on the bubble with a A high flush going down to a straight flush, next table I take down some one with a flush that was A high but turned in to Ac to 5c straight flush.

Just a good example of how poker evens out I thought.
