I've been there too. Maybe I'm naive but I'd like to believe I can still improve if I put in enough work. In fact, I started a blog about it. I don't want to post a link as I have already done so in a different post. For those who may be interested and would like to study with me, please google "mormeg poker".

Therefore, having correctly prioritized and realistically assessing my abilities, I decided that as an amateur I am much more successful than as a professional, and if I am lucky enough to win Life Changing Money, it will be a completely different story ...

Actually in my post I just introduced myself and mentioned that I started a blog. The idea of setting up a study group only came to mind after I stumbled upon your thread Anton.

In my opinion, a career in poker is a job, so it requires a lot of discipline, dedication and other attributes that we can list. And certainly at the beginning of the career there will be more moments of frustration and losses than of celebration and gains. But, persistence can pay off.

Hello Anton. I completely agree with you that poker is definitely not for everyone in terms of earning a living, it is more a favorite hobby, a pleasant pastime. In such a seemingly simple game, it is difficult to constantly win) you need talent, luck and a lot of time only for yourself, when there is no family, career, then something will work out, but not a fact. You rightly said that you have to enjoy life, but you don't agree with the fact that poker is only for young people, many people will tell you that a poker career does not depend on age. May you be lucky in everything!)

I definitely agree with you. Poker is not for everyone but if we already started poker we should never give up until we are successful. We have downswings because of the bad beat which is very normal in poker. If you feel tilting, stop and rest (Watch TV or eat snacks) then go back again. I recommend playing normal tables. Cheer up buddy!
