Are men superior to women in poker?

I do not believe at all that it is so. In any aspect of life. Women and men are the same. The only explanation i can find is that there are fewer women playing. But there are great female players.

This question is very interesting and curious. I believe women and men alike in poker. The difference may be in the number of men who are interested in this sport of reasoning. Men act more in poker and in larger quantities, so it seems that they stand out more than women.

they are not superior, but it is still complicated, we have so much responsibility that it is difficult to leave.
Several times I have to go to my tournaments to meet my hand that needs me.
so leave everything and go play poker, sometimes it's a luxury.
I guarantee that women could spend their time more easily the fight would be good

I've heard numerous female players say that they are forced to play a more straight forward game without as much bluffing as their male counterparts. Apparently men are stupid and stubborn and will call bets from women a lot more than similar bets from men. I imagine without being able to bluff, the likely-hood of winning becomes a lot harder.

Sorry to break it to you, but If youre sitting down at a table looking at cards theres no difference between you and a woman.
Its a sociopolitical issue, not biological.

You can see it on the SharkCage episode where Jennifer Shahade and Tito ortiz participated coments like: I would like to be in the cage with you (from tito) and even the narrator insinuating he was cheering for her because she is pretty.

Thats a very soft harrassment, but its rich people beeing broadcasted.
Imagine a chick in a random table in the countryside.

Nobody aint got the patience for that

we will never know until more women join poker. I would never be sure of

I know just in female friends alone that would kick my ass in poker just by being analytical...Luckily for me they see the game as gambling lol.

Any woman that applies themselves to the game has an advantage and it’s analytical thinking, ego gets pushed to the side, they see things in logic.

I want to make more money as this game, so yeah, less women the better lol (kidding, but I want to be rich) , there has been studies about right brain vs left whatever...I can look more into it, but it comes down to women in general won’t/cant or don’t make firm decisions (large decisions , this is the study talking)...give me some time to back up my claim. There is a hesitation factor...where men act like idiots and run with it. Again back to the whole firm decision theory...

One thing is for sure, women do not play on emotion, they are analytical thinkers.

It is an interesting topic...

The word is more "prevalent”, not "superior". The idea of men being superior is incredibly misogynistic, whereas men being more prevalent is a factual statement based on numbers of players of each gender.

It has nothing to do with gender, it is a matter of numbers and proportions, of course women play, but not to the same extent as men, that leads to at least probability of seeing a finalist, but not due to lack of play, yes not by mathematical logic

The answer is that girls are NOT bad at poker. At least they are no worse at poker than guys and a convincing case can be made that guys as a rule are worse.
If the definition of "good poker player" means the player who makes the most money lifetime (and i can think of no better metric in a game whose point system is based purely on dollars won) then it stands to reason that the worst poker players are the ones who lose the most money lifetime. bitlife pc jiofi.local.html
In reality nearly all poker players are bad in the sense that no more than 10-15% (depending on the stats you believe) of poker players who play in a casino setting will ever be winning poker players throughout the lifetime of their poker career (because of the effect of the rake and dealer toke).

I think men and women pretty much stand the same chance , but since there are far more male players the probability of an extraordinary player being a man is just way higher.
